Easy to install, and seem well built. Just make sure you measure the depth you need. The keys work on both locks

Close but no cigar!
It certainly looked like the old one I was replacing. But....once installed into the tool box lid, I found that the rotating blade is not the same as the old one. So now it's extra time spent modifying the blade. I guess I could return it but the replacement would just be the same problem.Otherwise the lock deal was pretty darn good. Most dealers sell one lock at this price. This one sells two in their package.

Direct Replacement For Kobalt Toolbox
Allowed replacement of lock in older Kobalt toolbox with long-lost keys.Other than drilling out some rivets, this was a direct replacement, with no fitting or customization required. 60 minute job, with cleanup.Far less expensive than calling a locksmith and kept toolbox secure.
