Nice big readable clock you can see the time from a distance. Also tells the temperature and dampness levels. No problems with this item.

Original packaging will be damaged.What battery, I had to supply my own.The rest of the description was accurate.The clock itself is very good for the half price I paid for it.Fairly quiet tick, not completely silent as my Asda silent tick clock, but a gentle "murmur" that is very pleasant.Any road up...Perhaps the Amazon Warehouse workers, if it is they that write the descriptions, may want to adopt a policy of not mentioning batteries on returned items when they, or someone in the chain, intend to remove it.Not a deal breaker, I was not actually expecting a battery in it anyway.By breathing on the airholes by the Hygrometer, I got the needle to move slowly (as such devices do0 to 70% relative humidity, so I hope that when I calibrate it against my dehumidifier, it will be fairly accurate.At least it is not completely dead, as I had feared. (So why was the clock returned, is something else not working?)The temperature gauge also seems order of magnitudes correct.Overall, the clock is superb.Just looking forward to the one coming from Germany, hope it will survive the journey.Finally, more feedback to Amazon.Your split delivery of 2 identical clocks, one from Amazon Warehouse in Scotland, and one from somewhere in Deutschland, needs looking at by a competent programmer.Amazon Alexa when asked about the split delivery, single purchase, insist this is going to be delivered on Tuesday 13 October, and has NO knowledge of the other delivered clock at all, even before it arrived today.Perhaps Alexa cannot read or get full access to Amazon customer account information?Something for the Alexa programmers to think about, if Amazon really want this process of verbal interaction with Alexa, to be actually trusted to be giving accurate replies to questions like "when are my purchases going to be delivered".##################### Second clock arrived via Hermes today ######################I have synchronised the times on the clocks and set them side by side in the same room.At present, the one just delivered (from the German warehouse) says Relative Humidity is 40%The older one mentioned above says humidity is 30%. A figure I very much doubt.When a few hours have elapsed I will add to this review to say if they "Hygro" reading is still far out between them.Then, if feeling really keen on testing these (unpaid), I might get the dehumidifier out and see what IT says the humidity is in the same room.Or not, as the case may be...

Nice looking clock but ony worked for about a month then stopped. The battery was changed, then a couple of weeks later it stopped again, the battery was checked to see if it was fitted as it should be and the time put right, then a few weeks later it lost an hour. Very disappointed with this clock.

Two starts because the clock itself is OK and looks fine.I bought it for an office where I also want to have an idea of temperature. The thermometer on it is terrible - apparently it has never been calibrated as it is currently showing 10C in comfortable working conditions. Checked it with a portable thermometer and that is showing 19C.Not fussed about the hygrometer and cannot accurately check it but it is showing 75%. It's been pretty wet outside recently so that feels realistic.Doesn't do the job I bought it to do so this is going straight back to Amazon.

it seemed to work at first - i've now had it for about 1 year - supposedly time-sinked by radio, it consistantly does its own thing and goes totally out of sink, giving a wrong time. If i press re-set it does correctly find the right time - but within a few hours seems to pick up other signals and resets to a different time. The tempweature gage never works - the hydrometer appears to work ok.

it’s currently 6:47pm. Clock thinks it’s 4:40. I’ve replaced the battery. second hand is still moving. it’s junk.
