I just used this towel while traveling. We spent 4 days at the beach, as advertised, the sand just falls right off, absorbs water fast, dried even quicker and has not odor even when not being able to wash it for 4 days. It also worked great on the airplane as a blanket. Folds up small to fit in your carry on, will defiantly be using in for car travel as well as international travel as it will be useful in any situation that might arise.

When I received the towel I opened it up and removed it from the pouch and thought: "Oh that's pretty thin, no way that will absorb much water." I took it to the Waterpark anyway and I was pretty impressed with its performance. It does a great job wicking away moisture and doesn't get saturated as fast as you might think given the material, and it dries very fast. Overall, very pleased with this towel for how light and compact it is while also being great at performing the requisite tasks of a towel.

I was skeptical about this microfiber towel. After I received it and showed it to my traveling companions they made fun of me for buying a blanket instead of a towel, but when they were lugging around large and heavy regular towels while I had this compact and light towel, they were all a little jealous. Not only was the towel light weight even when soaking wet, but I was easily able to roll it up to fit it back into my beach bag. In fact, I probably could have carried a smaller bag with me just because of this towel.The design was as pictured and was easily recognizable from afar on the beach and at the pool. The fabric seems well made and there was no noticeable change in it. The fabric is soft, but not plush like a regular towel. It wasn't scratchy or anything like that. I pcrchanged the large towel and am a short person (5'1) so it was big enough for me. I would recommend the large size for children and petite adults, but the extra large for taller or plus-sized people. As far as the towel holding water, I thought it did a fairly good job at soaking up water when I dried off or wrapped the towel around me. It's not going to magically soak water out of your bathing suit, but it soaked up and retained as much water (maybe more) than a standard beach towel. I was pleasantly surprised by it's water retention given that it seems so thin. The towel was pretty much dry overnight so long as I hung it up, it dried faster than my companions at least even if it was still slightly damp from a late night at the pool.Overall, I was very pleased with this purchase and would more than recommend this towel for those looking to travel and keep themselves free of heavy regular towels. This towel held up after a week of use at the beaches/pool of a cruise.

I bought 4 beach towels from Costco last summer at $7 a piece. They were big and fluffy...just the way I like. But by the end of the summer they looked like hell TONS of snags.I work at a pool. I keep 2-3 beach towels on me to cycle through during the day so I’ll always have a dry towel to use. The thick towels are big, bulky, and tough to carry with all my other stuff. I was super skeptical of this towel because it’s so thin. I honestly bought it for the pattern and the hope it would be as advertised. It is. I didn’t want to give up my terry cloth towels because they keep me warm. But the reality is that once I dry off I’m not cold so these keep me warm enough. I got the extra large to make up for the lack of thickness.Wow! Does it NOT take up space at all! I can’t fit a terry cloth towel in my backpack, but I can fit this one! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the loop!!! I can hang my towel from a hook in the bathroom and IT WONT FALL OFF!!! Nothing is more gross than your towel falling on a wet, disgusting public bathroom floor. Ugh! And, if I add a carabiner I can hook it to the outside of my backpack if my backpack is full and my hands are full.

I purchased 4 of these one in every color as going to Hawaii and figured I need more than one beach towel and beach towels take up so much suitcase space needed a smaller option. These are so compact I'm taking on carry on and using as blanket and seat cushions.I was skeptical to see how thin. So I opened one and after regular wash and low heat dryer, towel was as good as new. I used at home to dry after my showers. Although the towel is not thick at all it does the job. I will update after Hawaii as I am hopeful that sand does not stick to them. But right now I truly love these as my regular towel at home. Beach towel update to follow....Dec 31 2018 update. These were my only beach towels two weeks in Hawaii. The sand doesn't stick to the towel when towel is dry. They wash and dry quickly and now I'm use to the feel of the texture. Great investment.

First of all, this is not your traditional type of beach towel. It is made of a different maternal.Pros: It is thin and can be rolled up really small, about the size of a18oz water bottle. This makes it a great gear to take on a trip especially if space is your concern. It also absorbs water effectively, dries very fast, make it a great option for beach and outdoor pool play time.Cons: Because of its size and thickness, there is only so much water it can absorb before it becomes wet. So don't expect it will keep you warm on a windy chilly day. In those days, a.traditional thick cotton beach towel works much better. Remember this towel is for drying only, not keeping you warm.

The size is great- perfect for a beach towel, the print is lovely, it did dry me off (though it isn't nearly as absorbent or cozy as a regular terry towel), it dries quickly, and it is very light so doesn't add a ton of weight to a carry-on but the missing star is because the hem around the edges started unraveling after one delicate cycle in the wash and being air dried. I could also do without the company motto at the bottom of the towel since it feels a little scoldy or judgy ("I can do better") rather than motivational but that's a minor quibble. If it starts falling apart any further, I'll be back with an update but for right now I'm still pleased with my easily packable, star-print travel towel.

Super super mince. Absorbe l’eau rapidement et sèche rapidement .Ne prend pas beaucoup de place car très mince. Je la plie et la mets dans la fermeture éclair de devant pour ma valise.

Pour le voyage mais finalement ça sert très bien à la maison

i like the lightweight and the ability to hang the beachtowl on a hook to dry 3rd no green mold growing it is mold resistant to my experience with the towel for these reasons i like it .
