works great on a flat surface but can be a challenge to go over ridges in the panels.

Works very well. Was a quick and easy solution to the need for a stationary sheer. Little difficult to use and not curve the metal as you cut but definitely gets the job done.

These work pretty good, it would be nice if they opened up just a little bigger. I use them to cut my rabbit wire that is coated, so it’s pretty thick. You have to have the perfect angle or it just isn’t going to go through. Once you get the right angle though it will chew right through it. It takes a minute to realize where to get it to cut and where it cuts on the wire, but once you do it definitely makes the work go faster.

I owned a construction company and custom cabinet shop for many years, and I have always gone for good quality tools. My son is in the business now, and recently he had a job with a lot of sheet metal work, needing a lot of cuts. I must admit I was a bit wary of buying a tool with a brand name I had never seen before, but I took a chance on this one, and bought it for my son's birthday gift. I was very impressed with the quality of this shear! Seems very rugged and well built, and I am confident it will hold up well for a long time. You might want to spend more for a tool with a bigger cutting capacity if you are doing full time sheet metal work, but for a General Contractor with only an occasional need for a specialty tool like this, this shear should be just fine!

Pretty bad. It had been used by the time I got it. There was metal residue on the blades. I wanted to test its ability to cut 16ga. stainless, so I gave it a shot. I managed about a 4 inch cut (pretty much had to force my way through...). I had also purchased a set of replacement blades for the thing, so I changed to new blades. It functioned fine for about an 8 inch cut, then nothing. Keep shopping for a better one.

The media could not be loaded. It works well. Cut through steel with no problem Drew a line and easily controlled the shears to cut the line. Left a minimal burr on edge that sanded off easily. For straight lines I will grab these instead of the plasma cutter from now on.These shears are great. The quality of craftsmanship can't be beat. These are heavy duty. It cuts metal roofing sheets exceptionally well. Not using manual shearers again, great time saver.I’m very pleased with the performance and quality. Very satisfied, easy to maneuver, very accurate cuts. Great price, this is an awesome buy. Recommended

I stumbled on a YouTube video where someone was using electric shearers. I immediately went to Amazon and bought this. I’m doing a car restoration and this makes cutting sheet metal a breeze! This will get the job done in a fraction of the time and create a cleaner cut without having to purchase consumables. I’ve been using them to cut 18 gauge sheet metal and they buzz right through it. If you know how to use this tool it works great. My only regret is not purchasing one sooner!
