Found my Gameboy Advance SP stored in the attic and after pulling dusting off the cobwebs, found the original battery no longer held any charge. Hoping to restore functionality without high cost, I purchased this replacement battery.Installation was simple - one screw to access the compartment, swap the old for the new battery, replace cover. No soldering or hardware modifications needed.After charging overnight, I was pleased to power on the SP to find it running like new. The battery icon showed full charge. I spent several hours playing Pokemon FireRed and it maintained charge well. Here are the pros and cons after a few weeks of use:Pros:- Low cost way to revive an SP with dead battery- Easy, drop-in installation- Comes with all tools needed for replacement.- Holds a charge comparable to original Nintendo battery- Allowed me to restart playing a beloved childhood game systemCons:- Can't verify actual mAh or overall lifespan yet so who knows how long these will last.Overall, I'm thrilled to have my Game Boy SP back in action for under $10. It was an affordable fix that delivered good enough functionality. Definitely recommended if you have an old Nintendo handheld with battery issues and want to relive the glory days! Bought 9 months ago, already 0.0vI have older GBA batteries that have been sitting around longer than that that are still fine.** Turns out it was the protection circuit. I hooked it up to a variable PSU at low voltage and current and brought it back to life.

The battery works great with the old gameboy advanced. The tool kit was great as it allowed me to easily change the battery. Great price.

they’re alright, good for their value. they fit what i needed em for and they charge pretty quick, too. i tested these batteries against all of my old OEM batteries and found that these new batteries hold about 4 hours of charge using an IPS screen compared to ~2 hours with the old, worn-out batteries. while it’s an improvement over an old, bulging battery, if you want to sit down and play for 8+ hours on one charge i’d look elsewhere. a lithium polymer battery may be a better choice.

It fits, not as tight as the original but also my original was swelling, thank God the battery was swapped before it burst. It fits perhaps to say perfectly without tension. Good price, I think there is a more powerful one out there but the brand wasn’t as prominent as this one. I also felt the original battery time was fine enough. My charge light looks brighter and clearer…? Maybe I am seeing things. Provided medium size head screwdriver was perfect to open the battery bay. Quality looks and feels good, thank you

Good manufacturer, I have bought batteries for different units from them multiple times, and they deliver! Noticeable increase in usage time from the worn-out batteries I was replacing. Never had any issues, so this is highly recommended from me!
