General description: DINITROL RC800 is a solvent free rust converter based on co-polymer latex combined with organic chelating agents. Dinitrol RC800 actively converts the rust present on the substrate into a stable organic iron complex. As the product dries it forms an impermeable barrier to oxygen and moisture effectively sealing out further corrosion. Dinitrol RC800 has an extremely low order of toxicity and does not contain phosphoric acid or lead. DINITROL RC800 builds a dry film which gives a good adhesion for corrosion prevention products Application: DINITROL RC800 is designed for application to corroded ferrous substrates, on the underbody. Method of use: Apply on solid rust- When applying, the metal should have room temperature, not over 40ºC. Touch dry after one hour. One more layer can now be applied if necessary.
