Bought these for my wife and asked her to write this enthusiastic review... Where have these little pills been all of my typical-Asian-lactose-intolerant life? I've always been mildly lactose intolerant and could eat a little bit of dairy before the Awful happens. After years of hitting the limit, I knew that limit with precision. Soft gooey melted cheeses is a complete no. Milk or whey is a complete no way. I've had to change my diet just to keep the Awful at bay. All is fine here in California where dairy substitutes are the norm. But then I needed to travel outside of this country where soy was non-existent. I bought a bottle of Lactaid. Oh my happy gut! What freedom! Cheese pizza? No problem! Cafe con leite? Bring it on! Pao de queijo? Give me more! No more fear of the Awful. I can enjoy all of the foods that I want and love. And if the Awful starts to show up in my life because of some hidden dairy in the food, I pop a couple of these nuggets in my mouth and he goes away. This thing is a miracle! I carry a bunch of Lactaid in a little resealable bag that I bought on amazon.com that is used for jewelry. My younger son who inherited by lactose intolerance how has a little bag in his school backpack, too. Thank you Lactaid! You are a miracle product. Fast acting doens’t work so well for me, this does.

I have issues with dairy products, so Lactaid is a must whenever I get the craving for cheese! I make sure to take 2-3 before the first bite of cheese, and then if I'm still eating 30 minutes later, will take a few more. The caplets are flavorless and I swallow them whole, but I've also bought the vanilla chewable Lactaid tablets as well. I prefer these because there's just something off about having a vanilla flavor in your mouth as you're about to eat pizza. Additionally, it's great to get them in bulk (100+ caplets) so I can just keep the bottle in my kitchen. Makes it much easier to grab right as I'm about to eat or consume dairy products. Similarly, they have individually wrapped tablets in case you're on the go. I keep a few of these in my coat pocket, car, etc. so that I have them when necessary. My stomach used to get super upset whenever I consumed dairy and with these Lactaid caplets, I can now enjoy cheese and some of my favor foods again!

If you're tasting your pills, you're swallowing them wrong, so I don't know how/why we'd rate flavor here (these aren't chewable?). Barring that, these work fine if taken as directed. My partner has pretty bad lactose intolerance. While she's since moved to an extra strength, fast acting version of the product, this is sort of our standby and significantly reduces gastrointestinal distress for her.

For home use get the bottle!!!! Soo much easier than ripping open little squares. Product is great now packaging is too.

I love this product! I use them whenever I drink or eat dairy-heavy foods (straight milk, ice cream, and cheesy meals) and they help me avoid any subsequent stomach issues. I was excited to find this 120 caplet bottle for a smaller price. Much easier than buying the tear apart caplets at the drugstores. And it's small enough to fit in my purse for everyday use! I've bought this product twice from here and am very happy with it. Right now I'm taking two with my morning latte. :)

If you have lactose intolerance, these enzyme replacement pills help reduce symptoms a good deal. They can make the difference between enjoying dairy products in your diet or having to avoid them. But don't expect a complete miracle after drinking a large glass of milk, however. Be sure to take as directed, before eating. The more pills at once, the better.

I really like having these tablets in a bottle. The little packets can be a nuisance. I only use those in my purse. I have taken this for years. Works very well.
