Heavy weight and works. Does every thing it is supposed to do.The unit is designed for several brands of drill presses, but fit my Ryobi Drill press perfectly.While it takes a few moments to grasp the concept of drilling square holes, and following through the setup steps, the end result is quite worth it. The bits are very sharp and handled my pvc project with no effort. The plastic storage case is durable and makes for convenient storage. Item is well recommended.

Chisels are decent. The instructions should have been written by someone who speaks English. A lot to be desired in that!

Installed this on a large Harbor Freight drill press. The piece that actually attaches above the chuck had to be sanded a bit to be able to fit on it but after fitting it works great! Nice inexpensive product to get started making mortises!

As soon as I received this I knew it was getting returned. The tolerances of the machining were abysmal, and the finish on the cast parts was hideous. so much flash and rough casting. All the bushings are the cheapest plastic you can imagine and the bits are both dull and don't fit their mated chisels. I spent way more time than I should have trying to align this on my drill press. In the end it went back in the box and off to a return. Save yourself a ton of frustration and just buy a benchtop mortiser. They're really not that expensive.

This is a good quality setup, but it wouldn't fit my 17 inch floor model drill press like it should've so I had to return it unfortunately.

I used this mortising arbor on my benchtop Ryobi drill press and mortised the 4x4s in the pic to make a Holiday train/tree table. It was very easy to setup and use! This would have been very time consuming without a mortising arbor and bits.

Be ready to get your files out and your edge tool sharpening kit. Also a bit of woodworking is a pretty good bet.Your going to need it all.1st. The gap on the yoke that holds the tool to the quill is not wide enough. Use a file and open it about 5-8 Thous.2nd. The chisels and augers suck right out of the box. Check YouTube for some great vid on sharpening them. It's not done how you think.3rd. The mounting also sucked. Mount the fence to a piece of plywood that you can bolt or clamp as needed.Took me 2hrs to get it set up and all four chisels and augers tuned-up.

Once set-up is accomplished, it works well for the investment.
