Q: I hate that you have to fill this from the bottom. Has anyone drilled a hole in the top and used a funnel to fill it?

I always take the bottom off as you need to clean it anyways before refilling. I clean it fill it up then put the bottom back on and flip it over in the pen when I put it back. In 15 years I have never used the plug on the bottom to fill. Maybe I am weird but this is what works well for me.🤷♂️

Q: I purchased the "All-Seasons" Heated Plastic Poultry Fountain - 3 Gal. Model HPF-100, 100-Watt in the fall. Do you sell replacement plugs for it?

I dont sell plugs, nor do i recommend this waterer, bad design.

Q: where do poor the water does go on top or bottom

You fill from the bottom. Either you flip the unit over and remove the rubber plug in the red base and fill through that opening, or you give the base a turn and remove the entire base and fill the white plastic jug directly, then reapply the base. Contrary to other opinions, the construction of the waterer is fine. We are on our 3rd year of using this waterer full time (only plugged in during the winter, obviously) and have had no trouble with it. Sure it is a little cumbersome, but this is a pretty basic unit.
