Wonderful replacement parts for Fender P-Bass
Professional musician - was refitting a Fender P-Bass (MIM) with better hardware, pickups, wiring, and had come across this brand several times. Made in USA, better quality pots than what came stock... I could have ordered everything separately and soldered it all myself, but having it all ready done - and with quality parts & wire was worth the couple of extra bucks. I did have to unsolder the big ground wire that was soldered to the backs/plate of the pots (hard straight wire vs the typical flexible thin wires they use at the factory) because the knobs were a tight fit in the pickguard (didn't want to cut or warp the new pickguard I'd ordered). Easy to unsolder and resolder to allow another 1/16th of an inch of distance. Tone bleed/paper cap was what was most appealing, as I was going for a vintage 60s sound. Compared to the stock pots, this tone pot was way more effective (stock pot had tone down, then anything turned up 5% or higher was the same through the range of the knob to 100% up). This new pot has more color changing characteristics in the first 20% of the knob being completely down before it opens up to full tone. Very happy with the product, super easy to install and adjust, quality parts. Thank you, Emerson!

Expensive but worth it.
I bought two of these for each of my Fender P basses. One has Bartolini pickups and the other has Aguilar pickups. The new wire kits made each bass sound even better. The real beauty is the capacitor and tone control, roll off the highs and it doesn't muddy up. Nice, smooth volume control as well. I've always been a firm believer in quality electronics in my different guitars and these Emerson kits are just that. I am very satisfied with them.

Works great, sounds great!
The components are good quality and well assembled. I had a slight problem with getting it to fit in my bass due to the location of one of the soldered wires. Otherwise it works great!

Function but doesn’t last.
They function but don’t last. Tone is good, but pots in the 2 kits I had in my main p basses went bad in a few years at almost exactly the same time. I have basses with functional 40 year old pots. Maybe since I bought mine, they improved? Now replaced with parts from popular luthier brand and feels much more solid and was half the price.
