Q: I am trying to buy my first set to learn to play. Which is better: melamine or fiberglass?

Actually, real ivory is best, but for the money I purchased this set and we love it! We are still trying to peel off the protective plastic from the tile, but you'll be very happy with this set. It is classy looking and the storage is better than most sets. (We have 4 in our neighborhood.)

Q: What is the difference between the classic vs the class ii?

I have the class I I and in my opinion the case is much better and there are inside boxes even for the racks. I always receive compliments about my set when I go to play. Hope this helps.
