Gets the job done. If you need some legacy crap taken care off, it'll do the job.

Works as expected

Functions exactly as advertised. The 9 pin D-Sub connector is good on both sides and fits all serial cables well. Serial is on it's way out as a consumer interface, but it's still used a lot in Commercial and Industrial applications. And, if your are like me, and work in the Systems Integration business, you'd be missing out if you don't have at least 10 of these if you do anything with serial communications.

This adapter is pretty awesome in that it's:1. Cheap.2. Small.3. Works flawlessly.I purchased it to attach my xbox 360 to a pico projector while on the go, and I just leave it permanently attached to the xbox's vga adapter. It doesn't take up any more space than it needs to and works very well. I've seen others on the market that do essentially the same thing but are a bit bigger, which could be good if you are worried about losing it. In my case, however, I was looking for something that takes up as little space as possible. After all, everything my pico projector needs fits in a large ziplock bag!

There's not much to say about an adapter that you had to deliberately search for to find. It's thin, durable construction, with screws for one side. No surprises; does the job. If you're a dinosaur like me and still using DB25, then you need one of these.

This is a really nice gender changer. I had ordered one that was much cheaper thinking that they all came from the same place. Well, the first one I ordered from another suppler didn't get the job done at all. This one was just super. It cost a little more, but I lost more time and money returning the other I should have just ordered it from here and been done with it. Great Gender Changer.

Should only be used for those temporary emergency fixes. We used it to extend a 3' cable to 6' using a second 3' cable. Picture quality was badly degraded. We ended up ordering a longer cable to fit our needs. Not recommended.
