PRO-SYS® Interdental Brush Wide Spaces, Proxy Brush - 16 Brushes (4 Packs – 4 Brushes per Pack) – with Dupont™ Bristles

I use this exclusively for a permanent retainer I have on my front teeth, and it's just the right size to get the big spaces in my gums that the retainer has caused. I also have 1 tooth with a filling that blocks floss partially so this fits in there great as well. Because I don't have any tricky maneuvers I imagine it won't break for at least a few weeks. The trick to making these last is to bend the head as little as possible when pushing thru the gums, otherwise it will break early. For rough flossing the disposable 90-degree flossers are better, and still washable with peroxide for a couple weeks as well.A+

When I ordered these brushes I was looking for the longer type with a replaceable brush. But after using these I began to like them better. the longer handle of the replaceable brush type didn't seem to hurt anything but the brush was not held steady and it floped around somewhat. I just got these but I'm guessing they are going to last a long time unless you throw them away. These brushes are wider than the replaceable type I had before so have to be cleaning better. But I do have recessed gums.these may be a bit big if you have tight teeth and gums.

Originally I bought this to use between some larger gaps between some molars. Previously I had used the green TePe interdental brush which is about the same size brush, but more expensive. For this purpose the PRO-SYS was somewhat of a failure, because the brushes on the PRO-SYS are so much softer than the Tepe that the PRO-SYS just doesn't feel like it's getting the job done between larger gaps. However I was pleased to find that the PRO-SYS fits even between fairly tight spaces between teeth, so instead of the PRO-SYS replacing the green TePe brush it's instead replacing the red (thinner) TePe brush I had been using (because the PRO-SYS is cheaper and seems to do a better job than the TePe for smaller gaps). So one star off because it doesn't do well with larger gaps but otherwise it's pretty good.

This product was recommended by my Periodontist. The Pro Sys Interdental brushes do exactlywhat they claim to do, which is keep the wide spaces between my teeth clean. I've used a numberof other product in the past, but the Pro Sys brushes are, by far, the best.

This product is completely destroyed after using it for a week. It's not a very durable product

These are not very durable brush wire bends easily and becomes loose in the plastic. I’ve tried them twice will not buy again. Found an alternate for less money that are much better.
