MS Office is the standard for home, students, and business needs. Setup is fast and easy. Highly recommend this product.

I am thankful a perpetual license version of Microsoft Office still exists, given that Microsoft is trying to port everyone over to the "forever subscription" model with Office 365. That said, I really resent how Microsoft Updater works under macOS. Microsoft Updater will auto-launch even if it isn't in the Startup/Login item folder, meaning that there is no easy way to disable its constant "notifications". Unlike earlier versions of Microsoft Office, the current updater functions as "nagware" to to suggest upgrades that are incompatible with this version of Microsoft Office (i.e. require a Microsoft Office 365 subscription). Unlike the Windows version of Microsoft Updater, if you go into the preferences to disable Auto Update, it will still run EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Under macOS, all that "disable" means is that if an update is found, it won't install without clicking "yes" — but the Updater itself is still going to go online every time you startup your Mac to look for those updates and then prompt you to acknowledge them EVEN IF those updates cannot be applied because this version of Microsoft Office is too old (i.e. not part of 365). After a lot of searching online, I found instructions for how to edit the relevant Microsoft Updater PLIST file to edit the ridiculously short update interval. It really should NOT have been necessary to poke around in the hidden files to stop this intrusive application from running. (As part of my search, I even found students complaining that MS Updater would launch during tests and Microsoft Office support, on their own forums, had no solution for how to disable it, insisting only that it can be "disabled" from the Mac preferences menu — never acknowledging that this only disables the "auto install", NOT the background activity with MS servers and related update prompts!) Microsoft Updater has been a pain throughout all versions of Microsoft but uninstalling it tends to open another can of worms (i.e. repeated prompts to reinstall it). Essentially, Microsoft Updater under MS Office 2021 behaves like one part updater and one-part adware/nagware for Office 365.

I was concerned because Amazon showed the shipping status a shipped and USPS said it had not been picked up yet, but it arrived, in perfect condition, on time, and installed perfectly. I saw a lot of bad reviews, and was leery, but I would order from them again. If there was a problem, it appears to have been fixed. Four stars because I consider that a normal purchase and delivery. And this was. No surprises.

NO installation disc/software. This "boxed" Office Suite was recommended to me since I'm not the most computer savvy (typically, a family acquaintance helps me with computer things). So this "boxed" software was supposed to have an Installation Disc/Software. No Installation disc! Why waste all the resources, cardboard, gas, time, to send a BOX with a "key"? Microsoft and their retailers muddy waters unnecessarily -to cut costs and increase bottom line? Or, to help the end-user/customer? Lol, they sent me a BOX WITH A KEY CODE -and then one goes to DL installation software. *Oh yeah, MS sure makes it difficult to NOT rent their Office 365 annual plans as you try to navigate their website to DL installation media!! The old Office 365 switcherroo! AFTER, my purchase of the BOX/Key for Office 2021.

Think youre separating yourself from OFFICE 365? Its the name of the setup file inside the box, which requires downloading and setting up OFFICE 365. There is no CD. You still have some problems associated with cloud based files and operation though semantically, its installed to your desktop, to fool you into purchasing. Like Facebook, Microsoft makes big money snooping through your files and selling information, while causing hiccups and delays in functionality.

Installing this product was easy but had to search for the installation of said product. Needs to come with instructions.

I do not like the outlook app, if I would have wanted email on a browser window, I would have went to gmail.

Was delivered fairly quickly 2021 Microsoft Office.I did install it on my computer, but I had an older version of Microsoft office so this installation didn’t work the new install, it gave me an error message when I opened it, but I realized I had to delete the old one off of the computer first so I deleted the new install plus deleted the old Microsoft Office program that was on my computer, rebooted my computer let the computer boot up and then I reinstalled the new Microsoft Office 2021 it installed seamlessly when I opened the program up Microsoft Word or XL or Outlook they opened and all my other files were there no issues whatsoever so my recommendation, if you do have an older version of Microsoft Office on your computer or laptop, delete it first reboot and then install the software you should have no issues type your key Microsoft provided within the package and Walla, everything works very pleased as I always am when it comes to Microsoft Office products hope this helps. Hace 14+ años adquirí Office, en aquella época la instalación era por disco, ahora es vía web desde Microsoft. Desde esos años, las actualizaciones y respuestas de soporte técnico me han dejado satisfecho. Aquella vez, compre el MS-Office de una sola instalación y sin problemas ha funcionado excelente. Espero que ésta versión de Office sea tan buena como sus antecesoras. Aunque, hoy antes de escribir ésta reseña estuve usando Excel y tiene ciertos problemas al realizar algunas acciones, con tablas dinámicas, formulas complejas y macros. Se atonta un poco y se desaparece el cursor además, de problemas de copiar y pegado en cualquiera de sus opciones. Cosa que no sucedía en las versiones anteriores. Espero lo solucionen pronto, como siempre el soporte técnico de MS.

Earlier I was a bit skeptical about this but I had received the instructions to get the key in the junk email. After following the instructions the key was delivered shortly even that was delivered in the junk email. However, upon going to the official Microsoft website and redeeming the key it worked fine. So yes it's authentic.

When a similar licence costs not less than 18k I was surprised to get this product at fraction of the cost in the market. It was so easy to install and the service from the seller was excellent.
