I own two of these great clocks.They are well-made. Brightness is easily adjustable. Batteries last for more than a year.We have them mounted high on a wall facing our bed. We keep the bedroom dark.The clock is easily readable without disturbing our sleep.

It's a very large display so I can read it without my glasses. It does not put out a lot of light so it does not bother me at night. Perfect clock in my opinion.

We traded in our old cable DVR for a new, higher tech one and, to our utter dismay, the box doesn't have a clock on it. Just displays the channel number! We depend on that clock to know when to change the channel and what time it is when we are watching TV. Yes, we have phones, clocks, etc. but THAT clock was the one we always looked at.After two days of trying to get used to it, I was done. I came on here looking for the simplest clock in the world. I didn't want any bells and whistles, just the time. I found this one and, although it's kind of expensive for being just a plastic battery operated clock (but it does have an alarm on it so there is that), it was the simple, easy to read clock I had been looking for.Our most watched TV is in the family room which is super casual. This clock is fine above the TV. It takes 4 AA batteries and works. It keeps time accurately so far and is easy to see in the dark or dim lighting as well as natural daytime light. It dims itself at night which I would prefer it NOT do but the assumption is that it is to keep from disturbing people who actually sleep at night. The pics I posted are with just the TV on and I was across the room zooming in.There is a small stand in the back with two pull out plastic legs but we don't use it. We Alien taped it to the wall. We no longer are going crazy looking at the DVR box that fails us by only displaying the channel. This works fine so far. I will update if it starts losing time or killing batteries real fast. I have not tested the alarm feature but will next time we have to put batteries in it. It's not worth $27.00 really but it DID save our sanity so I am not complaining too loudly.

I wanted a clean and simple clock (time only) that would be readable when I looked over on a shelf at the opposite side of my bed on my sailboat. While sleeping on my boat in preparation for a watch, it is nice not to have to put on glasses and find my phone or watch to see the time. I like that it is red so it doesn't destroy my night vision and it alters brightness automatically from day to night. I'm super picky, and anything that doesn't pass muster gets jettisoned off the boat. This one has earned a place on our boat. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for use in my RV, after the very inexpensive clock from Ikea revealed it's ugly side -- that constant ticking every second at night. The RV is a closed environment, so any small repetitive noise at night can be irritating. Plus, I could not see the dial at night -- this one has red LEDs. Great! You might think, at fiorst, that the LEDs are a bit dim. But at night, they are just right. Seems like a very large housing for such short numerals, but it fits well on a wall in my RV, makes zero noise, and provides instant readability in the dark. I did NOT get paid for this Review. I did NOT receive a free product as a bribe.

My husband and I really like this digital clock because it is so easy to read across the room. We used to use the spectrum clock from cable box but we got rid of it and had to replace the clock. We are really glad we bought it.

I like that this product uses batteries exclusively, unlike many other clock of this size these days that only use batteries as back ups. And it appears the clock is somewhat accurate as it has only lost (lags behind by) 1 minute in the last 30 days since I’ve had it.However, it is quite difficult to read in daylight or white LED light settings. The red LED numbers blend nearly perfectly with the red background, making it pretty difficult to tell the time. This clock works best in a low light to dark settings.

This really is excellent. Adjustable brightness, easy to set and the perfect size for my wall. I don't have a light on in the living room the evening and tried a couple of "luminous" clocks that just were not visible at all. This does the job perfectly. Takes 4 AA batteries but they are supposed to last around 12 months so not a problem. Highly recommended purchase. Very happy.

Ebenfalls sollten die Ziffern aus 2,5 Metern Entfernung noch gut abzulesen sein. Ein weiteres Kriterium war der reine Batterie Betrieb ohne Netzanschluss.Was soll ich sagen, gesucht und mit diesem Modell gefunden. Der Kunststoff fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an, ebenfalls keinerlei üble Chemie Gerüche beim Auspacken. Die Anleitung ist groß genug gedruckt und erklärt alles Notwendige. Das man das Blinken der Punkte abschalten kann, ist sehr schön und habe ich auch sofort gemacht.Die Helligkeit auf mittlerer, werkseitig eingestellter Stufe finde ich sehr angenehm. Man blickt Nachts auf die reinen Ziffern, ohne dass alles drumherum hell erleuchtet ist. Zudem ist auch tagsüber die Helligkeit hoch genug, um ohne Problem die Uhrzeit erkennen zu können.Nutze die Uhr erst seit dem 12.11.2017, bis jetzt geht die Uhr genau. Ein Funkempfänger für den täglichen Uhrzeitabgleich und Umstellen Sommer/Winterzeit wäre natürlich perfekt gewesen. Dies wäre dann natürlich wieder auf die Batterie Laufzeit gegangen.Stichwort Batterie Laufzeit. Ich erhoffe mir durch die eingelegten 4x(!!) AA Batterien natürlich eine sehr lange und damit "wartungsfreie" Laufzeit. Ob sie wirklich, wie in der Artikelbschreibung, ein Jahr beträgt, muss noch bewiesen werden. Kurzer Hinweis, die Batterien sind (wie üblich) nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.Fazit:Wer die gleichen Ansprüche hat wie ich, die ich oben beschrieben habe, für den gibt es für diese Uhr eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Für den Preis in Höhe von 24,79€ top. Ich bin begeistert.
