Dustpan White

I love the look and feel of this dustpan. However, the first one I received arrived with scratches and nicks in it. I sent it back, and the second one also has some scratches. Not as many as the first, but they are there. I think this is an issue with packaging and storage. Since they are metal and not individually wrapped (they’re shipped in just a plastic bag with no protective packaging), I think the dustpans are coming into contact with other dustpans and causing damage. Anyway, they are now not available on Amazon, so I can’t exchange for a new one. I love the design so much that I really do not want to return it without getting another one.Anyway, the nicks and scratches may not bother everyone, but I have a hard time overlooking them. Great product though, and great brand. I have a lot of Redecker products that I hope will last a very long time.4 stars because of the surface damage and poor packaging. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars all the way.

Redecker makes by far the best cleaning tools I’ve come across — I have a growing collection of brooms, brushes, and dust pans by this company that I consider to be functional art. This dustpan is quite lovely. Solid steel with a white enamel coating, turned wooden handle, and a rubber floor seal.There’s just one thing: most dust pans, when you set them down, will rest flush against the flood so you can sweep dust into them. This one doesn’t — it balances on the back edge of the dust pan and rocks back and forth in the air. You need a free hand to press it down against the floor while you sweep up with the other hand.Not the end of the world, just a little annoying, and something you might want to know about when deciding whether to purchase.

Die Kehrschaufel ist sehr schön und wurde in erster Linie gekauft um Plastik zu vermeiden. Allerdings ist die Gummilippe nicht schmal genug und man muss sehr oft immer wieder auf die Schaufel kehren um halbwegs alles zu erwischen.....schade! Ansonsten toll!

I'm a big dork about these Redecker products that I can't really afford. They show actual craftsmanship and intelligence about their products and I love that so many are good to the environment. This pan is no exception. Pretty enough that I don't stash it far away, functional enough that it will be useful in many situations, well made so I know it will be hanging in my kitchen for a long time to come.

I was looking for a white dust pan and found it. It’s wide enough for my kitchen cleaning and looks very sturdy yet aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend it
