Learning Resources Magnetic U.S. Map Puzzle (45 Pieces), Multicolor, 19 L x 13 H in (LER7714)

Great for third grade Abeka curriculum history/state reinforcement. We put the puzzle together right away on our whiteboard after delivery. A couple of the states were a bit warped, however they were easily reshaped. Great quality, my kiddo and I love this puzzle, and I highly recommend.

My kindergartener loves this map! It's a fun way for her to learn the states and comprehend that they are separate from each other because of the magnets!

The bright colors and designs on each state are very engaging for our grandchildren, and we like it as well. We have put it on our refrigerator, one of the few you can buy these days that is magnetic.Every time grandchildren come over they play with the states and move them around. When they aren't here, my husband takes states out of the Union if they do something stupid like banned books. 💪 Civil disobedience at its most mellow. Those states are banished to the freezer section of our refrigerator.The only problem is that some of the states arrived a little bent, so that they don't fully make contact with what they're stuck to; but they haven't fallen off so we're very pleased.

We purchased a automotive drip tray from an auto parts store and the kids have plenty of room to sort and assemble the pieces. They combined some of the smaller states and it makes it easier for the younger ones to enjoy. The magnets are nice and thick but it is just paper glued on them so any moisture should be avoided.

Having read the poor reviews I still bought the puzzle, and I am very pleased with it. Several people had received damaged goods, (hopefully they received refunds), ours arrived in a bubble envelope but luckily undamaged. Our pieces lie perfectly flat and abut together perfectly with their sister states. The magnetic power is nice and strong but not overly so, the color and graphics are very nice. Thanks to the review that let me know they had a peel back problem, I immediately made kids aware of that possibility and told them to NOT lift the pieces by the top paper but pry them if from behind the magnet and that has worked. Still trying to come up with a a solution that would seal the edges. The map pieces are not cardboard but foam board sandwiched between paper graphic and magnetic sheeting. Kids thoroughly enjoy this game and I am happy that this puzzle will not be scattered all over the floor!

I am a High School teacher and am sometimes amazed at how many students don't know states and locations on the map of the US. You could probably do some brushing up too LOL; Just saying.This is an excellent puzzle map! It's beautiful and simple. As a teacher, I highly recommend that you quiz your children and play games at home with this so that they at least have this foundational information in stored in their memory banks.

This is an absolute favorite in our family. It is paper so if your little one enjoys ripping paper puzzle tops off like ours did, unfortunately Tennessee didn't make it. But our 3-year-old knows every state now and can assemble the puzzle super quick all on his own. The only wish I had is I wish it was made out of wood. I see this being in our home for a very long time.
