It works very well ,I tested it today not even 1 hour when I got it .And I asked if somebody could say Hello ,and I heard 2 clear as day Hello 😊

It's an SB7.. but you can go to your favorite radio station and use it as a radio if you wanted. Not super loud and the ear buds they give you with it suck. BUT, it's loud enough to do what you need. Your not supposed to use then in a loud setting anyways. Not all headphones will work with this. My friends XBox headphones don't work, but my Altech Lansing headphones do and sound WAY better than the ear buds. The little screw driver they give you is lack luster, at best, but it's neat. The little strip was pulled out of mine and in the ON position. So the light was dead and I haven't found a way to change the batteries yet (if it's even possible).

Unfortunately: the spirit box is basically useless in ANY urban center. It picks up too much interference. I use it as a small pocket radio when I go on walks. You'd be better off getting multispectrum recording devices or a better piece of ghost hunting equipment.

I like it pretty good. It's exactly what I was looking for. Picks up well and simple to use. Performs well. Just the right size, not too big , not too small.

My adult daughter wanted this and I have no idea why but she absolutely loves this and actually uses it. I’m giving it 5 stars because she is happy said it is exactly what she wanted and it’s a good price apparently.

all seemed well-device turned on and everything on the screen looked like it was working, except there was absolutely NO sound. Absolute silence (yes power on, antenna out, maximal volume) There is no technical support offered. This item was quite pricey to be so useless. Completely ruined my planned Halloween ghost hunt. I suggest you buy a different product. I wish I had chosen my alternate choice of products.
