Nice
Not the best ale but I’m a lagar drinker but due to illness I can no longer drink fizzy drinks of any type I don’t drink much but in the summer if you get good weather I love a beer in the garden if it’s warm at night and this scratches that itch

Fruity Flavour With A Bitter Aftertaste
I do enjoy a pale ale so I was looking forward to trying these out from Brewdog. At only 4.3% it isn’t very strong which might alter your view on it depending on what you’re for in an ale - but regardless a 330ml can would make a perfect light summery drink. I also rate the negative carbon impact Brewdog is striving for, despite the bad press about them in recent times. It has a distinct fruity aroma and pleasant taste that quickly dissipates and unfortunately turns bitter very quickly. The bitterness lingers in the mouth which overpowers the initial fruity flavour, and ultimately ruins the beverage for me.Overall, whilst I really like the initial citrus and tropical notes the following bitterness is too strong for my tastebuds. Thank you for reading my review, if you found it helpful let me know below!

Rather sweet
I'm generally a fan of Brewdog ales. When I order a Wetherspoon's pizza (by far the finest that can be found outside of Italy) I always like to have a pint of Punk IPA. Although technically a pale ale (albeit with a somewhat lagerish quality) it has plenty of flavour to it. There is just a gentle sense of citrus, that doesn't take away from the true sense of beer.In this case, I'm afraid that they've simply gone too far with the citrus. The best way I could describe it is as being akin to a shandy, made not with lemonade but Lilt ("the totally tropical taste"). And perhaps also a dash of cream soda. It's drinkable enough, but this feels more like a soft drink (that might perhaps be produced via a soda stream device), than the kind of taste you'd expect from a company associated with serious ales. This is the kind of drink that I would expect teenagers to buy (using a counterfeit ID) and then swig at whilst sat upon some park swings. If you're the type of person who likes pineapple upon a pizza then I wouldn't be too surprised if you can also appreciate this. However, as somebody who believes that the correct accompaniment to ham is some mushrooms, it's not really for me. I understand that the beer is carbon neutral, which is probably a good thing. However, if everyone on earth would have to switch to this in order to save the planet, then we're doomed. I intend to watch Britain sink into the depths of the ocean whilst holding a pint of Punk IPA or 5am Saint, thanks.

a superb taste of nostalgia ~ a story
This pale ale brought about some autobiographical memories !Now when exactly did I have my first taste of beer ? That was the question going round in my head as I took my first sip of this BrewDog Planet Pale Ale.Well now it must have been when I was a teenager ~ maybe 14 or 15. The local pub had just two pumps ~ this is a long time before there was such a variety of beers now found in every High Street public house ~ and they were Pale Ale and Bitter ( we are back in post-war Britain and in the West Country so there was undoubtedly cider ~ Scrumpy ~ as well)With my dad I no doubt was sipping a glass of lemonade and he had what looked like a giant tankard of beer ~ Pale Ale ! It's what men drank ~ my mum would have looked sophisticated with a Babycham in a posh glass.I asked my dad if I could have a sip of his beer, I'm sure he would have smiled with amusement and he he proffered his giant drink to my childish lips.... Eurgh it tasted really nasty and bitter.I have grown many years since that occasion ~ have a liking for that new stuff ~ lager. But the first taste of BrewDog took me right back to those childhood days.I can highly recommend it for not only is it a taste of a simpler time, it is thirst-quenchingly brilliant!

Refreshing ale
Love the company, but I might be biased as living close by to where it’s all started from. The beer itself is great. Designed well, eye catching and appealing for many. This is a case of 12 x 330ml pale ale. It has a good strong citrus taste and very drinkable, to the fact that I was just drinking as a lemonade. But felt in my head after the 2nd can. It’s one of those tricky ones, where you almost don’t feel that it has alcohol content, but it hits you after a few can. It’s very refreshing and perfect all year round ale, but especially would be great in the summer.Got a good price point, selling around £1.60/can, which is seems reasonable for a craft beer. The brand also known for their good environmental impact reducing, removing twice as much carbon than they emit. Also for being the first distillery to start making hand sanitisers at the beginning of the Corona Virus. They have some good work ethics by the look of it.

A very fruity pale ale, that's vegan friendly too
Like beer? Like craft beer? Like Pale Ale?This is the BrewDog Planet Pale Ale, 12 x 330ml Cans 4.3% ABV, Suitable For Vegans. If you appreciate craft beer, especially Pale Ale, then this is for you. When poured it is a thick golden nectar with a frothy head. It smells like an orangery, the fruity fizz zooms up your nostrils like a buzzy bee. You raise to your lips, taste a small taste, it's sweet but bitter, a bigger sip...it's got a full flavour of hops but with a huge fruity flavour. Not dissimilar to Blue Moon if I'm honest.I prefer either common session lager or the more traditional bitters like Banks's, Tetleys, Theakstons etc. But I will suffer for my art to drink these! Can't drink too many, as it is quite sweet.Overall I'd recommend if you like a very fruity Pale Ale, then this is for you.
