I love this product. It doesn’t taste or smell medicine. I wish they brought back “Mocha” flavored. Great product

Even if you don't have kidney issues/renal disease, this is a good tasting plant based protein drink. Best if cold and don't forget to shake it before you drink it!

I have been on Dialysis for 4 years. These shakes are so much better and cheaper than the shakes I get at the center. Vanilla taste is great especially when Ice cold. Packed with vitamins and low on sodium/Phosphorous and potassium, perfect for Dialysis patients. Very useful for those who need protein and can't eat alot. I enjoy the taste.

Update 24 hours later: I wrote a stellar 5 star review for this product and suddenly the subscription price goes up overnight by $10 per case. Thanks for the price gouging! We will be getting a more affordable substitute through our pharmacy & insurance coverage. If you expect to keep loyal customers, the subscription price needs to stay consistent & fair. Period. This product doesn't even deserve one star.OG Review: Purchased these for a family member who has CKD, needs to put weight back on and boost their protein and iron levels.We got a script from the doctor to buy these locally, but I was given the run around & told a bunch of nonsense by 2 separate medical supply companies. I'm an RN, so I didn't appreciate their uncaring attitude or being treated like I was uneducated in the matter.These shakes were a blessing to find here on Amazon. Not only did it save valuable time locating where to buy them, but we purchased them using the subscription option and the first case was delivered within 36 hours. The best part.....the ingredients and %'s of nutrients and minerals in the shakes are right there in the picture of the product label. Thank you Kate Farms!!! This is soooo important for renal patients because of their dietary restrictions and the amount of salt & potassium they're allowed to consume daily, as well as the sources of protein. To anyone who may be doubting if these are suitable for renal patients, both the nephrologist and hematologist looked over the label & immediately approved these before we purchased them.The only complaint I've heard about these shakes is that they don't taste like vanilla. This is coming from a person who has had a very poor appetite for 6+ weeks, so I'm not surprised. I'm just happy that they are drinking one per day as instructed, slowly putting weight back on and lab levels are improving until further medical intervention can be given.It's very important to remember that there is only so much that dietary supplements can fix, especially if there is a bigger, underlying health issue that is causing problems & symptoms. As an RN, always seek the care and guidance of a Healthcare provider first and have labs done to make sure there isn't an undiagnosed medical condition. In our case, that's exactly what we found out. By being proactive, a very serious problem was caught in time. Otherwise, my family member would have been hospitalized & their renal status further compromised.I highly recommend these. The cost is very affordable with the subscription option & they get delivered right to the door whenever we need them. These will always be kept on hand to maintain proper nutritional status after the inpatient treatment has taken place.

Nutrient dense and tastes great.

My mother loves these drinks, and she told me they are best cold. Due to her declining kidney function, she was having problems eating. However, she doesn’t have problems drinking these meal replacement drinks. These drinks avoid or minimize ingredients which are difficult for the kidneys to process.
