Mind blowing
Nothing is permanent in politics. Only scars remain forever. Born a royal and surrounded by luxury, Prince Harshavardhan had assumed that life would be easy. But everything changes shortly after his 17th birthday as the young prince is thrust into hostile territory all alone. A grand game of deceit beyond his age is simmering, and Harsha is the central piece. A ruthless invader, a barbaric neighbor, allies with changing loyalties and untrustworthy deputies are all part of the volatile political landscape he inherits. Each character in the story is born in a political background. And the fearsome side of the characters with the horror and intelligence of the story shakes the mind of any history lover. There are ups and downs at the extremes. As much of the main character's time spent in extreme excellence is spent in dire straits amid horrendous corruption. Also, the back cover of the book made me fall in love with it first and then fall in love all over again when I read the book. I am lucky enough to read such a fascinating book where both my excitement and fear are equally fueled and preserved. There is nothing to say about the language of the book. You will understand by reading. The book easily captured the minds of ten history lovers like me.
