Sanofi Unisom Simple Slumbers Return-to-Sleep Dissolving Strips 21-Count, Melatonin 3mg, Midnight Raspberry

I bring these with me when I travel for work and have to sleep in hotels. They help me fall asleep quickly and stay asleep until my alarm goes off. No groggy after feeling unless I took it too late, which is user error only. Lol.

I'm not sure what magical melatonin is in these strips, but both my husband and I are out 100% of the time within 15 minutes of taking. Taste is fine, a bit like gelatin, not bad but not pleasant. SO worth it though!

The packaging was good. But, upon opening the outer layer, I noticed a small flake outside of the inner packaging. I viewed the product and it was a hard clump of strips. The product is unusable. The appearance gives old. I KNOW the strips are not supposed to look that strange. Fearing for the safety of my health, I decided not to taste it. So please, I will like a refund.

I got this product because I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep. I thought this would be a good solution instead of having to swallow a pill with water in the middle of the night. The problem is that in the dark, in the middle of the night, on several occasions I have taken more than 1 strip because they stick together. They don’t taste bad and they did work for me, I just don’t like the dispensing method.

Bought these for a long flight I had. Usually I can’t sleep on public transportations. Took two strips before my flight and I was good. Flavor is not bad honestly

There are multiple variations of Unisom. The one that works best is Unisom SleepTabs. These tablets contain Doxylamine succinate which will knock you out without being habit forming. Love 'em. They are intended to take before going to bed. In contrast, this version of Unisom is intended to help you get back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. It is just melatonin. Melatonin is not as effective as regular Unisom but it does work—and you can get a whole bottle of dissolvable melatonin tablets for half the price of this product at your local Walmart.Unisom would argue that their product is worth the extra money. It lives in a nice, compact dispenser and takes the form of thin sheets (like standard household tape) which dissolve on your tongue without needing water. All of this is true. And they taste pretty good. Here's the problem: The little sheets of melatonin—you only get 21 of them—stick together. If you wake up in the middle of the night and want to use one to get back to sleep, you'll need to turn on the light and maybe put on your glasses so you can separate one of the sheets from the rest of them that are all sticking together. Try this in the dark and you're likely to get a double or triple dose. A double or triple dose won't hurt you. These are 3mg sheets. Melatonin tablets come in 3, 5 and 10mg sizes. But taking multiple sheets may make it harder for you to get up in the morning.The bottom line is this: The compact dispenser and sheet-like form of this product might be worth paying extra if the sheets didn't stick together. But they do. And that makes keeping a bottle of dissolvable 3mg melatonin tablets by your bed a much easier and cheaper option.
