9 Degree Circle Wedge Ruler 18in x 3 1/4in

Used this ruler to make a table runner.

It was what was required for what I was making and it worked perfectly.

It says in the name that it is an 18 inch ruler. Actually, it is 15 1/4 inches long, because the ruler starts at 2 3/4". It is not long enough to make the large dresden plate of my pattern, and I ended up buying a longer ruler from Amazon. I did not want the bother of returning it, so I just kept it. The name and description of it were misleading to me (although the picture of it was accurate--I wondered perhaps if the picture was wrong).

Just what I need to make several items

The ruler slithered all over until I added a non-skid backing to it. It comes with lots of directions, but they are confusing, and also you have to keep the very large piece of cardboard packaging they are printed on. Clearer directions on a paper insert would be an improvement. So would some non-skid. The idea seems very interesting though, if I can figure it out.
