VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Fibre Vinyl Automotive Wrap Film DIY Easy to Install No Mess (Black,4 x 5ft)

I'm pretty picky with all the carbon fiber vinyls out in the market. I've used 3M Dinoc before but that was more to capture the dry weave look (where you can feel the weave). However, this one I believe is the closest match to closed weave style of CF that you see in most cars. This was an identical match to the carbon fiber package in my BMW. It's great for wrapping headrests or other parts that may not be covered by the CF package your car maker offers.However, I did say with ONE caveat. And by no means is it the fault of the company. This film is for indoor use only. While it might not expressly state it in the Amazon ad, if you go to the VVIVID website and read up on this, it does clearly state that fact. If you look at my pics I decided to use it to do my B-pillars as I found the gloss black was getting scratched up. While it looked great on a sunny day, things turned quite different when it rained. (See 2nd photo). As already stated, it does not like the elements. I couldn't bear to see what would happen in the winter so I peeled it off after a few weeks. Other than the rain it held up quite well and would dry out after but I figured that would only worsen over time.It's stunning vinyl and I find it be one of the best matches ever. Since it was meant for indoor application, I ended up using it to cover the seat backs of my car. I think they came out amazing. Shout out to Lam Le (on youtube) who has a great video showing him installing on some Porsche seat backs. That's where I got the idea to do it. So instead of buying $1000 CF 'backs' that tape over the seat, I did this for $50. I think if you put both side by side you'd have a tough time figuring out the difference. It's so smooth and shiny that they really pop.

I returned this item along with the 2nd roll I bought and a roll of red and still waiting on 2 of the 3 returns to be paid out, THEY WERE ALL IN THE SAME BOX SO HOW DID I GET 1 PAID OUT SO FAR???!!! 5 stars to the product and negative 2 stars to the add, THIS IS INTERIOR ONLY, DONT BE FOOLED, ONLY the new Tech Art black gloss carbon from VVIVID is for exterior use, but for interior use it’s beautiful stuff

Overall this product is good and looks authentic. Most reviews I read on here about it being poor quality or not adhering properly is simply because the user did not instal it correctly. You should always clean the surface with alchohol first and to take your time installing. So reviews are not always what they seem, sometimes it's just the user not knowing what they are doing, not the fault of the product itself. The only issue I had was there was a defective line in the print that no amount of heat or stretching could get rid of. I would recommend looking over all of the material prior to installation.

Very hard to use on corner , weak glue, got a lot of pop after on day very bad quality

Very hard to apply....wrap tore and did not stretch like it was advertised to do. Would not recommend this as a DIY project....the product did not apply in areas ...I tore it off as it wasn't up to my standard. I would not recommend
