This is what I wanted.
Like a lot of people, I was tired of spending too much time on my smartphone and becoming distracted by all the notifications. I wanted a simpler device with only what I absolutely needed. Before purchasing the Punkt. MP02, I powered down my iPhone and switched over to an old flipphone for about a month. What I experienced, can only be described as FREEDOM. After using the flipphone for a month, I felt ready for another “downgrade“. I use the term “downgrade“ in referrence only to the loss of functions I came to consider as unncessary. After setting up my new Punkt. MP02, what I actually had was an upgrade.I really love the minimalist interface and barebones features of this phone. It is aesthetically pleasing, both the physical phone and the interface. Besides a calculator, notes, clock-stopwatch, and calendar, what you have is a phone that basically does a couple of things, calls and text. There is no camera, and no internet browser on this device. The call quality is good in my opinion. I actually have not noticed much difference from any other mobile phone I have used. Having to text is annoying, but I do not text much anyhow. For work, I use a BoxWave Bluetooth Keyboard in order to quickly respond to coworkers. I do not carry this keyboard around with me of course, that would be ridiculous, but it stays at my work station just in case I get a text that requires a lengthy response.Besides having to adjust with a few minor workarounds, I have in no way felt that I have given anything up. Overall, this phone is great and I have been using it as my only phone for 6 months now. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to either take a break from smartphone slavery or permenantly leave it behind. My one and ONLY complaint is the battery life is not what I would have expected for such a minimal mobile phone. I charge it once about every two or three days depending on usage, but I was having to charge my iPhone daily.ONE YEAR UPDATE***I’m now one year into using this phone. What started as a hopeful experiment, turned into a permanent solution. The Punkt. MP02 still works great and I haven’t had any issues with it. This is the only phone I use. It’s not an afternoon sim card switcheroo situation or a weekend break. I powered off my iPhone a year ago and still have not seen fit to turn it back on. After a short period of time adjusting to the minimal features there has actually been no real inconvenience to me. It only seems like I have gained, in time and freedom.

stylish but impractical and failing already
I have been using a light phone for 6 or 7 years. Supply issues made me choose a different phone. This phone just does not work very well. The buttons dont work well at all. Its as if they are wearing out, and the phone isnt but a few months old. T9 texting is archaic. You also cant receive or text multiple people at once. The interface is just unnecessarily complicated. Punkt I genuinely appreciate your efforts, but please give people who are dedicated to living this life style a call before your next model. Again its only a few months old and the archaic T9 buttons I have to push to text are already functioning poorly.

Good concept, but expensive for what you get.
I have been looking for a second phone to use when I am out with my wife and kids, during their lessons, or while going to have dinner.Pros: Design, shape, and weight, it is perfect.Cons: Cons: The phone materials feel cheap. For the price, I would wish the phone material would be premium, much better than what it is. Same about the screen; the quality is just below what I expected.I’m also surprised about the battery. I understand it’s built on Android, but it’s incredibly poor. The battery drains faster than my iPhone Pro Max.I ended up returning it.

Know what you’re getting into before you purchase.
I was looking for a dumbphone to use on my days off to get away from my iphone and landed on the punkt MP02. The phone looks super cool but other than that it’s quite unimpressive (maybe thats what you want though) it makes calls very well and texts mediocrely. The predictive text often struggles to pick the words Im looking for and slows down the process of texting for me. I’m still learning t9 so maybe its me. This phone does not accept group messages. Everything comes in separate. And I just delete them. Battery life isn’t good, if you disable wifi bluetooth data etc it gets much better. Easily gets you through the day. Before you get this phone be honest about what you’re looking for. This phone is a cool looking phone that will definitely help get you away from your current phone. I’m definitely missing basic features like nav, being able to receive pictures in texts, etc. I’m thinking for my purposes a flip phone that has some of these basic functions may actually get me to commit to using it on a daily basis but I feel like the punkt will only ever be a day off or unplug for a vacation phone.

the "calculator" phone. it's what my sister called it
Been using it for a few months now. The reason I bought this phone is due to it having mobile hotspot while still being a dumb phone. I've been using my old smart phone at work so I can still listen to music and stuff and use the hotspot for that. So, when I go home, I leave my old phone there and just use this phone for everything else. A little bit of a complicated ordeal, but I've been loving it. The phone itself is a weel made product, and the call quality has voLTE so you can hear perfectly fine. the biggest drawl backs for me are the signal. If you are out in a mild bfn you probably have very little signal if any at all, but if you are near somewhere its perfectly fine. And my biggest miss is being able to take and send pictures, which is obviously a design of the phone in which it doesn't have a camera. You can receive pictures however the quality isn't the greatest, so unless it's an easy to see picture you're going to have a hard time making it out. other that those two issues I have been enjoying it, and another fact is it is the phone is a lot smaller than you think.
