Ilusion 2012 Women’s Slip Dress – Adjustable Straps, Anti-Static Fabric, Loose Fit Underdress with No-Show Lines

I have had this slip for years in a size 38! I mean literally for maybe 19years or better. I gained weight over time and put it at the bottom of my drawer and having recently lost 55lbs I was throwing out my larger items and came across it again. Tried it on and it fit perfectly. I love how it fits close to the body like a loose spanx but is comfortable enough to wear all day. It provides the perfect look/coverage under dresses and skirts so I decided to see if amazon had anything like it. Low and behold I saw this slip and purchased one in all 3 colors but in a 40. When the first one arrived I was SHOCKED to see that it’s the EXACT same as the one I’ve had for 19yrs!!! Same exact brand and design! I LOVE AMAZON!!!

This is a very well made, good quality slip. It’s comfortable and pretty and functions well as a slip. It could be used as a night gown as well. I am 5’4” and it falls at the bottom of my knee. It’s length is a little bit adjustable with the adjustable straps. I’m very happy with it. I’d love to see it offered in more colors.

Very comfortable and soft and pretty, this slip’s straps are easily adjusted to accommodate dress length. The wider strap fits better on the shoulder and stays in place. All other slips I’ve worn the straps fall off the shoulder onto the upper arm so that I’m constantly pulling them up, very uncomfortable. Love this slip. Fits according to size.

I purchased this item after buying the same item in a retail store. Although it appeared to be the exact item purchased in the store, the item ordered from Amazon had a different feel to the fabric. The fabric was softer and nicer in the department store item and also the sizing was also off as it was smaller even though I ordered the exact same size purhased in the store. Unfortunately I had to return the item. Thankfully Amazon returns are pretty easy and quick to refund purchase price.

It's a simple, but cute, basic full slip. They are hard/impossible to find in stores. So Im thankful. Actually ordered it to sleep in and it is actually "cooling" in this heatwave we're having! With that said, it's a little shorter than I wanted, and the proportions are a little off "for me". I'm 5'7 so i get it. Its also a bit loose around the breast/hip area, but again - i want comfort to sleep, so it works. (I ordered size 40), based on the reviews. Could have sized down. I do however, LOVE the wider, lacy straps. They are adjustable and do not fall down during my sleep. Worth the "sale price" I got it for. Otherwise, not sure if I'd buy again.

Good quality and fit

I possibly could have gotten away with a size 36, but I am larger in the bust so I went with a size 38 just to be safe, especially after reading other reviews that said the slip was tight in the chest. The fit in the bust is perfect, and it is loose and flowy everywhere else. I bought this to wear for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" as Maggie, and I definitely needed a nude bodyshaper underneath to prevent my underwear from showing through onstage, but I expected as much. I love the lace details, very pretty! Fast shipping too.
