I bought these specifically for a couple 1920's school clocks from neighboring cites, so very versatile. The electric movements inside them now do not work. Tested and work well, keep good time. Pop in a AA battery and off she goes, easy. Replacement will be pretty easy and straight forward. One should be a perfect thickness for my use. Then I'll just order the other. The appearance of my antique clocks will remain perfect with these. Great value for bringing my antique beautiful clocks to life again.

Works Great. Swapped out in less than 5 Minutes. The majority of the time was getting the old one out of the housing. After that, it was as smooth as "Pie". The size was pretty standard and easily fit where the old one came out. It came with a variety of 'hands" and the brass look pieces matched my clock to a "Tee". No instructions were included and none was necessary. Each hand fit its respective post. Finally, I'd mention that it came with a 2nd. mechanism.

It works fine (at least for now). I have an old wall-hanging multi-instrument piece that had a battery operated clock. That part failed. Because this was a gift I wanted to see if I could salvage it. Where else to find obscure devices than on Amazon? I was somewhat doubtful, because I couldn't see how not one but to mechanisms and assorted hands could be delivered for the price, but I ordered it. Between the two devices and the assorted hands (plus a few necessary miscellaneous pieces, you'll have all you need. It's more difficult to extract the old mechanism than it is to install the new.

I replaced 2 old clock movements with these and even though I had to cut the hands shorter to fit the face of one clock, it works superbly with no sound and a smooth second hand. I am VERY happy so far and IF it lasts for years like I THINK it will? I will be even happier. We shall see!

This kit made it super easy for me to fix a clock I loved but that didn't survive even a few years' use. The variety of hand styles is nice, and each one is different enough that you can choose a more formal look or more casual, depending on the room you'll put the clock in and the clock face itself. All in all, the repair took less than ten minutes, and most of those minutes were spent looking up whether the rubber washer went on the back or the front, because the kit didn't come with any instructions and I'd already taken the nonworking pieces off the clock fack long ago and didn't have a visual reference anymore. This kit comes with two mechanisms, one with a longer stem than the other in case the clock face is thicker than usual. So far, the clock has kept accurate time, it runs really quietly, and here's hoping it's more durable than the mechanism that came with it originally.

Worked for one year great. Now it won't keep time. Not worth it in my opinion.

Easy to use Well packaged several hand styles and minute hands took less than 30 minutes to replace two movements/ one mechanism had a longer stem - do check the depth of your clock face as that will affect distance of hands.

Fixed two clocks and still have parts to work on others.Products work very well.

L'appareil marche très bien et a été facile à installer. Le seul problème est que les aiguilles ne sont colorées que d'un seul coté. L'autre coté c'est de l'aluminium, donc de couleur banche. Lors du montage, les aiguilles ne peuvent se mettre que l'aluminium face à l'observateur. Comme le cadran de ma pendule est blanche, aiguille aluminium sur fond blanc, c'est peu visible.

Well lets start with all the hands were bent,after straightening them out I got it put in and the gears inside are very sloppy and in 12 hrs its lost 5 minutes, not very impressive,would not recommend this to anyone.

1. Los mecanismos son DESIGUALES, uno de ellos trae la base de las agujas más larga que otro, a tomar en cuenta pues puede chocar con el cristal o mica e impedir el movimiento si la caja del reloj es angosta. 2. Llegó INCOMPLETO pues no trajo uno de los 2 juegos de tuerca y rondana para sostener el mecanismo al dial del reloj. 3. Si bien marca la hora de manera adecuada sin adelantarse o atrasarse y el segundero es silencioso, del minutero puede percibirse un muy leve ruido/raspe al cambiar cada minuto. 4. Uno de los juegos de agujas doradas llegó doblado, aunque son metálicas y pueden enderezarse, esto se debe al pésimo embalaje, una caja de plástico delgado transparente. 5. Tengo la percepción de que consume las baterías AA que usa de forma rápida, actualizaré este dato posteriormente tras un tiempo de uso. NO considero se justifique el precio de aprox. $215 MXN con envío, la relación calidad/precio justa sería de $35-40 MNX por mecanismo más envío.
