Dee Zee DZ2116B Black-Tread Tailgate Protector

Looks nice on my red 2000 Chevy 2500 pickup truck. Only thing I am not happy about is that it does not go low enough, on the outside of tailgate, to cover the 3 holes where the factory plastic tailgate cover used to be.

This is not the same as factory plastic one .When you take the factory one off you will have 4 holes showing as this product will not cover it .I bought thinking it was same size as original but it is not so Ian disappointed and will have to do d something else to replace it because it looks like cheap sitting on top of the original .

it good but it not for a 2006 gmc 2500 hd it will not cover hole in tialgate under old one it need to be longer to cover the holes

It came very short and doesn't look like the picture the picture shes 2 flat part the one I got curves around and can barely see go down the tail got

Good product, but Is about 2 inches to short for my 06 GMC Sierra tailgate. Also the lip on the these metal ones don't have as much coverage as the plastic caps do. Also you do have to score these in it get yourself some double sided adhesive.
