Ahh, prejudiced I am. A faithful, loyal reader of Ms. Hussey’s weekly blog “The Art of Well-being” of course I would read her book. And love it. I know there are many of us out there that are inwardly driven to pursue self awareness. Her book condenses key elements and avenues in this vast, complex and lifelong pursuit that underlies our relationships, and footprints in the world. Ultimately positive or negative. Indeed for those inclined the material and work of self knowledge, change and improvement is endlessly fascinating. To me her book is an introduction, outline and perfect stepping stone into the school of Life. In the end, success in our development will depend on our willingness and focus to become aware and be the best we can be and contribute that to the world. A blessing. This is joyful work. I applaud this book, and more specifically the author who continues to make her contribution through her writing of her own journey, experience and example. She is a humble fellow traveler with a gift of insight and passion. Her wit and charm are most evident in all she writes. As I stated, I am a fan. By the time I was just half way through the Introduction to this book, I was totally hooked. It’s engaging style would be enough to hold the attention in itself. But the content takes its value to the next level. May I humbly suggest that you read this book. It holds and imparts great wisdom. At a time when the external world is in disarray, to say the least, this book reminds us of what’s actually important, and provides welcome comfort, perspective and inspiration.
