Q: Will it work on " Moon " ?

I'm very glad you ask this question. The Hoverpen 2.0 is designed to hover on earth, but it also work on environments where the gravity ranges from 0.7 times earth gravity to 1.3 times earth gravity. That is to say, Hoverpen 2.0 can hover on earth, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. (if there is solid surface on the planets so you can place the Hoverpen!) The gravity on the moon is about 0.16 times earth gravity, so no it doesn't work on the moon. :) - Please make sure you bring the Hoverpen 2.0 with you if you're traveling to a planet that allows it to hover. Novium team will be very very very happy if you send us a photo of Hoverpen there. Also we will suggest you bring more Hoverpens with you in case you have to gift something to aliens.

Q: What type of point is it? #.##mm?

It comes with a Schmidt 635 Mini D1 refill F (0.8mm) in the pen, and an extra Schmidt 635 refill M (1.0mm) in the package.

Q: How hard is it to get it into the hovering position

It's much much easier compared to those items hovering with electromagnetic power! The Hoverpen hovers when the pen cap touches the round plate on the pedestal. Please see the attached vid for reference.

Q: Can the ring part be engraved on? I wish the store offered engraving since it’s a nice gift idea.

I wouldn't engage anything on a 400 pen. Try adding a base with a name plate or something to out this on but don't try to engrave it, it will ruin the paint/coating and I could see it chipping.
