Doesn't work on 2009 VW Highline 2.0l TDI Passat..
Sadly for me the code reader doesn't work,I'm not sure if it's just my device or not? I have seen this very same model of code reader working on YouTube on a VW Polo which was the reason I bought this as it is listed as working on all VW/Audi motors after 1996..in my case it keeps coming up with 'Linking Error' on the screen. My car is a 2009 VW Highline Passat Estate 2.0l TDI & as I said whether it's the device itself or whether it isn't compatible with my vehicle I'm unsure? ..it wasn't expensive & I can't be bothered returning it,I'll just take the loss on the chin & bin it, delivery was next day so all good regarding that & the price would of been perfect to if it read the codes which are causing my EML light to be illuminated but sadly it doesn't.

Not compatible with VW Sharan diesels
After connecting the scanner to my vehicle and attempting to scan various car systems it just keeps displaying "Linking Error". As with others receiving the same message I believe the device is not compatible with a number of vehicles in the VW / Audi group. So basically the item is being incorrectly advertised.

Cheap and cheerful.
Confusing at first, but once mastered it's easy to use.
