Very pretty and large, which is the main reason I ordered this clock. Because of the cheap price, I didn't expect high quality, Swiss work, and I wasn't disappointed. The plus side to cheap construction is that the clock is surprisingly light and takes almost nothing to hang on the wall. HOWEVER...hanging it on the wall was a nightmare because it takes a magic wand to line the hole up with the nail. The hole in the clock that was put there to hang it on the wall is not near the edge, it's along that inner circle that runs just underneath the Roman numerals. Very difficult to see when trying to hang it up. Also, the clock hands are dark, and the scroll work behind them matches them almost exactly. The picture shows the clock hands being much darker than the decoration behind them, but this is misleading. Because the hands are the same color as the background, you can never tell where the hands are pointing, and I never know what time it is. I did want a clock that doubled as wall decor, but what I ended up with was a clock-inspired (almost) art piece. I still don't know what time it is, though!

I really like this clock! It's large, decorative face makes it a good focal point for the room, and the price is right. I know some reviewers complained that there wasn't enough contrast between the hands and background so it was difficult to see the time. Mine is in a well lit area and I have no problems.My one issue is that the first clock I received didn't run at all. Exchange was easy and new clock runs great!

This clock came in a large box and was shipped and delivered on time as promised. The hands are a little hard to see on a darker wall but the clock still looks nice when hung.The frame is plastic material and it is very light weight.Overall the clock is nice and keeps time well. Only gave it 4 stars because the hands are a little hard to see. Maybe it could be taken apart and painted to better contrast a darker wall.

This design is perfect for my livingroom makeover I've been working on for my new place. The color however is darker than the photo Amazon displays. I suspect it's the lighting they used in trying to get the best shot of it. Not totally satisfied but not wanting to go through the hassles of returning it. I unscrewed the frame and glass and took a foam brush and got some gold paint and applied it to the backing. Made a major difference! But since I did the work, BF Systems get only three stars, would give them two and a half if I could!

This clock is very cute. But when it arrived it didnt work. Not sure if because of shipping or what. We had to do some repairs on it. After that it works fine. My other concern about it is. Unless it is against a white wall. You can't see the arms on the clock. I am always having to change the way I'm looking at it to tell time. It is mainly for decoration and not to see the time.

I bought this more as a decorative piece than for the actual clock. As other reviewers have mentioned, the clock hands are a bit difficult to read. But the piece itself is lovely. It is large and makes a statement. I hung it on the wall above the buffet in my dining room between 2 pendant lights. It is perfect. Would have given 5 stars if the clock was easier to read.

We were looking for a large diameter clock to fill some wall space. First thing we noticed when it arrived is that it is of a plastic construction. Even the "glass" is a shiny plastic which takes away from the clock's faux "finish". Unfortunately, we had to return it as the clock hands kept rubbing against each other and would stick, so from the start it couldn't keep time.

Very pretty clock, bought it for above the fire place. the brick there is light colored but it still didn't help with being able to see the hands. So i got some paint and pained the tips of the hands gold color and it looks really good and i can see what time it is. If you aren't crafty this is not the clock for you.
