The filter works fantastic! I would have given it 5 stars but the directions sent with it are a little vague. I do have to say that their customer service was terrific! I had questions about how to set up the filter and heard back from someone the same day! Our pond was cloudy and it was hard to see the bottom. After using the filter for 24 hours our pond was completely clear! I would definitely recommend this product!

Works better than expected and I can see improvement in water clarity in less than a week. My pond is about 2,000 gallons and exposed to direct south Texas sun most of the day. The filter is fast and easy to install and comes with everything need except hose clamps. It took me less than a half hour to install. Good filter for cleaning and removing algae and other small particles. Recommended to my fellow pond owners.

I would not recommend this filter, although it seems to work well, the gasket doesn't seal well, and the outlet for back-washing drips.

I am updating my review and downgrading my rating. The company that sold the one I received sells all kinds of random things, and they do not have a service department like an actual pond products company (e.g. TetraPond). They didn't have any more units in stock, so they refunded my money, which was nice, but I still have a filter that doesn't keep my pond clean without that UV light. I will search for a replacement bulb, but my point is this. For the couple of bucks I saved by purchasing this one over a TetraPond was not worth the headache. I've been at this for months now, off and on, and it takes the joy out of my gardening existence.Oh, and another thing. The unit I received is NOT the same unit pictured on Amazon. Kind of shocking. It is a cheaper model with none of the bells or whistles I thought I was getting. No back-flush option. No gauge to tell when the filter needs cleaning. So beware. This could happen to you, too.After less than 1 month, the UV light stopped working. My pond is overrun with algae now. It seems my only alternative is to order another one, wait for it to arrive, then return the broken one and wait for my refund.There is also the issue of time needed for the good bacteria to build up in the unit in order to keep the water clean. I'll have to start over with that. All the while, my pond is getting sicker and sicker.

I have a 1600 gallons fish pond with a home made synthetic wool aquarium filter for years that did not work well. I installed two weeks ago the Flexzion 10000 liters filter as a post filter and it was extremely effective to clear, cristal clear, the green water ond my pond in two days! Water used to be so green that I could not see the bottom at one foot depth .I still use the old filter as a prefilter any how. Now it is filtering at only 300 gallons per hour and the water is still cristal clear.

The Unit leaked from the top seal and the UV light was blown. Not certain the product will work effectively.
