The product performs very well, clear picture, good night vision, tracking works well and lighting is bright and adjustable. Best of all no subscription required for playback. I bought a renewed product and it looks and performa flawlessly.

Easy to setup and install as long as you have the wiring and junction box. Quick swap if you have a flood light already. Quality is very good so far, but it’s only been a few days. Time will tell if the lens keeps clear and the lights don’t get moisture inside. Lots of features and this can take place for 3 cameras. Even better with other eufy devices. Only gripe so far is that the auto floodlight has two options, sunset to sun rise or set time but no way to set from sunset to a fixed time.

My son bought a EUFY spotlight camera and we installed it on his house.. I was VERY impressed with the technology, features, and relative ease of installation. I subsequently bought 2 of the EUFY spotlight cams and installed them on the front and rear of my house. After a bit of adjustment and fine tuning of the camera motion and sensitivity, I was able to have a security camera that I could rely upon to watch my property without the annoying false alarms and periods of non protection. I really love the tracking feature that tells me when the is someone is present and to track the wildlife that frequents my property at night when I am sleeping. Time will tell me about the reliability, durability, and longevity of the EUFY system.. but for now I am sold on the EUFY spotlight camera!!! After 6 months my Eufy spotlight camera stopped working and won't connect to the internet! Eufy customer service admits the camera is now broke and needs to be replaced.. However Eufy won't replace the camera because I bought it through Amazon as a FACTORY REFURBISHED UNIT!!! Eufy stated they only warranty THEIR factory refurbished units for 3 months.. If the factory refurbished the unit, don't you think they would have the same confidence in their product as a NEW UNIT? I don't understand the concept of a factory refurbished unit being of less quality and having less of a warranty if it was in fact refurbished by Eufy.. So I would give Eufy's quality assurance a 1 on a ten point scale and a 0 on a ten point scale for customer service and backing of their product..

Installed all around my house. They work great. Once in a while one may go off line. I have them hooked up where old flood lights used to be. So they are on a circuit that can be turned off and on at a switch. Rebooting is therfore very easy.

I have absolutely no reason not to. (btw there's a small DIY tip for hard-wired installation at the end of this) I bought a new one of these in early 2023. Liked it so much I decided to take a chance on the refurb from this seller at just north of half of the new price (for coverage on the other side of my house). That was back in August of 2023, and both cameras work today just as well as when I first installed them. Sure, there are features and quirks I wish were a little different, but to the average layman like myself these cameras are great and I'm more than satisfied. I have read the negative reviews (again) as I'm getting ready to buy another refurb from this seller to install at my step daughter's house who's having some difficulties with shady neighbors. So far there has only been a handful that indicate (really) any kind of produt defect - those usually manifest themselves rather quickly. "Just quit working after (n) months" seems to be a theme, but reading the comments most seem indicitive of wifi issues (which will happen anyway with ANY wifi camera you install - too many moving parts in the equation to just blame the camera). So basically rather than "buyer beware" - I would contend - "buyer be educated" and do a little homework on how wifi works and what can cause signal loss and interference. Of course since it is a refurb there's always a small risk of defect - but there also is with new - or with anything! My 2 cents, but for what it's worth I felt compelled to add to the reviews that I am buying another camera from this seller because I have not seen a more attractive offer in this price range... DIY Tip: For those who may not have known: It doesn't necessarily have to be "hard-wired" persay. If you're not comfortable splicing into your electric lines for whatever reason, instead you can wire it to a "connector power cord" (HD orange store sells them for about 10 bucks - basically wall outlet plug on one side, open ended wires on the other). Then just plug it into an existing outlet somewhere. Of course use your discretion and common sense when it comes to shielding - but it's not much different than a garbage disposal...

I bought the renewed floodlight camera 11 months ago. It seems to loose Wi-Fi connection a couple times a week. My tv, IPads and IPhone are all connected to the same amped Wi-Fi extender as the camera and they never loose their connection. It just gets old having reset everything when it looses connection. The camera does record events as they happen without Wi-Fi. You just can’t view what’s going on live or what’s been recorded till you reset your Wi-Fi. Not good if your away from home and wanting to receive notifications about events the camera has detected or take a live look at what is going on.

Ease in coping videos to computer for viewing on 26 in. monitor, better than a 3 inch phone, for detail. 2K videos only make it better, Software helps a lot.

Its very sensitive picks up cars going by even though we have it set at human control only.
