I bought these on a whim-- a whole 6 pack of them-- because the price was good and I had misplaced my Fiskars 6" pruning scissors. Little did I know I was about to be in for a treat because they are sharper, more durable, a better feel in the hand, more durable (in the spring/locking mechanism) and are overall easier to use than the Fiskars model. They are more easily lockable and unlockable because that part of the scissor is more durably built than the Fiskars competitor. I'll be frank-- I have always been a Fiskars lover. I have their classic orange scissors from 100 years ago (not literally 100 years but a long time!) and expected more out of them here. 100% recommended, get the 6 pack and give them away to your favorite gardening friends-- they will not be disappointed nor will you-- I'll now go looking for other products from this company!

Great and comfortable grip, sharp quality. Opens and closes nicely. Can't say anything about being rust proof since I rarely put in water. I usually wipe them down

If you have a garden this is a must have and having multiple pairs is great and are a great bargain. These work well for outdoor gardening and hydroponics as well.

These shears work great, BUT only after I applied Loctite Thread Locker to the center screw. The screw backs out a little after every squeeze/release motion and after about 20 motions I couldn't cut anything at all. If you're not willing to 'maintain' your new shears right out of the box, you might be disappointed in this product. Otherwise, they're nice & lightweight and the lock/unlock lever is very convenient. I would say they're worth the 2-minute fix and overnight cure for the Loctite (but be careful removing & installing the tension spring, safety glasses required).

These shears are AWESOME! Sharp, responsive, Quick to cut. I do hope they remain sharp for a long,long time!

A YouTube gardening show recommended these snips, and they are amazing! You will never find something better for the price. I got a second pair just as a backup, and then brought some for a friend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fiskars had always had reliable shears for sewing ; kitchen needs. I needed fine garden scissors to trim soft branches and remove fruit for vegetable gardening. After a half dozen days in my vegetable garden they literally fell apart as I unlocked them. The center pin fell out & was lost in the hay mulching at my feet. I'm very disappointed.

So far, so far. Good quality. Heavy feel for the size. Not like some of the economy brands out there. A bit more that others (about double) but you could have these for a lifetime if you take care of them (and don’t lose them in the garden like I have).

Las he comprado para mis orquideas. Van muy bien. Corte limpio sin esfuerzo. Para las plantas interiores es ideal. También sirven para arbustos tipo jazmín.

Sono perfette per piccoli lavori di potatura. Rendono al meglio se usati per tagliare piccoli rametti / fuori. Come puoi vedere dal video. Uso questa forbice esclusivamente per decidere i fiori appassiti e per recidere rametti secchi o correggere la forma dei miei bonsai. Il prodotto è robusto e dispone di un “blocco” per tenere le parti taglienti “chiuse”. Non presta bene invece se dovete fare interventi di potatura su parti legnose e dal diametro importante. Le lame sono ben affilate. Se posso aggiungere un consiglio, meglio disinfettarle quando si passa da pianta a pianta per non trasportare magari funghi da pianta a pianta. Consigliate
