GORE C5 Gloves GORE-TEX INFINIUM

Despite being made of thin water and wind resistant material with no stretch, I find these gloves fit very well and are comfortable to wear on the bike. They have a suede texture material on the palm, and a bit if rubbery trim on the fingers that provides nice grip and works on my touch screen. There is no padding on the palm, but I have found them quite comfortable. This is my second pair. The previous pair lasted about 5 years of regular use before the Velcro no longer stayed stuck and a few more years before the fabric in the high contact areas finally wore through. I was very happy to be able to buy exactly the same style again.

Gloves work well down to the low 40s temperatures. Many of the negative reviews are that it is not waterproof so don't count on wearing these in the rain. The gloves are slightly long in the fingers but I can't size down because they fit snugly around the rest of my hand. I wear size XL in cycling gloves. I will definitely purchase another pair when these start to wear out. The red gloves are a brilliant red and really stand out. The best feature is I can control my bike without losing dexterity so common with long finger gloves. If you plan on riding in temperatures below 40 degrees you would need an additional layer.
