Years ago the product was sourced in China, that is why you might see that on the site in previous questions. Our supplier currently and going forward is USDA Organic and from the US, delivered direct from Canada.

Q: what does this taste like?and does it loose it good when heated?

It is bitter, with a heavy plant taste. Like compost leaves. I take it in hot water, with a bit of cream, cinnamon and agave. It's super gross at first, but you get used to it eventually

Q: How much by volume is the 50g package? How much of this do you use to make tea?

The bag seems a little on the small size, when you first get it. Maybe 1/3 the size of a Ghiradelli chocolates bag. But using 1/2 to a full teaspoon of Chaga Powder, each time doesn't take that much. I can usually make mine last about a month, having 5-6 cups a week. It's kinda gross at first, but you get used to it.
