Even though this book was. Written over 100 years ago, the basic text remains useful and interestiing. Knowledge of Greek is almost a necessity to fully understand the arguments in the text. Kennedy is open to the influences of the mystery religions on St. Paul. It is not a polemic pro or con, but a scholarly presentation of the facts.
