These Heat Pads are game changers. I converted an old, old multi section roasting pan into a to great Hot Dog Warming container ever. We went to a Kentucky Derby party and I told everyone I sought bring Ruth’s Hutt deep fried hot dogs.Now all I had to do was figure out how to fry them at home and keep the warm for several hours. So I got these heating pads from Amazon, made a double boiler out of disposable aluminum pans, put that in the roasting pan. Filled the top section of the double boiler with we towels, that I microwaved , put a rack on top of that. Fried the hot dogs, put them on buns, wrapped them in food wrapping sheet, which were also from Amazon, covered it and off to the party we went. They were the hit of the party and they stayed warm like that for over 2 hours. PS; the roasting pan I used was a wedding present my Mom and Dad received in 1937, glad I saved it all these years and now it has a whole new life.

Amazing Product – Total Game Changer!I used these to take food to a friend’s house an hour away, and when I removed the foil, the food was still steaming! These flameless warmers are a total game changer. The second time I used one, it didn’t get quite as hot—but I realized I hadn’t added the correct amount of water. The third time, I measured properly and it worked flawlessly again. Just be sure to follow the water instructions, and these will not disappoint!

I purchased these for a party we recently threw. I was in a pinch because I would not have enough chafing dishing for all the food. They did ok. When opening one of the packages (it came as a set of 4), it was actually glued to the packaging so we knew it would not perform as well as the others. The other 3 did ok, but the heat definitely stays to the middle of the tray, which is fine if that’s all you’re using. I would imagine most people, like us, would want the whole tray to stay hot or at the very least, very warm. These were just ok.

I agree with the other reviewers who stated that the product delivers minimal warmth. I would not buy this item again to keep mac and cheese nice and warm for a party buffet.

This was worthless. I followed the directions but the warming pad never got hot. The temp of the pad never got above 100 degrees, let alone to a level that would keep the food "hot". I was taking a meal to a chemo patient and was counting on delivering hot food. Not the case. I think the hand warmers I use for skiing would have done a better job. So disappointing. And not inexpensive!

The flameless warming pads work great for picnics or outdoor dining!

I was bringing a 9x13 pan of Mac & Cheese (almost 2 lbs of pasta) to a field side potluck, 50 degree temps. I left my house at 1 and the food was served at 4:15. I had no idea how I was going to keep this food warm! I watched the video with this listing and decided to give this product a chance. It comes with its own pans, but I wanted a 9x13 to fit in my insulated casserole carrier, so I didn’t use them.I purchased two disposable 9x13 lasagna (deep) pans, used one for the food, kept the food in the oven till the last minute, put 1.5 cups boiling water into the second pan, added the warming pad, then put the pan of Mac & Cheese in the second pan. I covered the food with foil, then wrapped the pans all the way around with foil 2 more times, put it in the insulted bag, wrapped it up in a fleece blanket and popped it in my car. 3.5 hrs later it was still warm! Not hot, but considering the amount of time, I was very pleased with how well this product did its job.

I wanted to love this product because the concept is so clever. The pads are easy to use, I followed the directions and the pads got hot but they only kept the food warm for barely 45 minutes. Overall to pricey and not very effective.
