Slow Fe Slow Release Iron Supplement, 30 Tablets (Pack of 2)

These are the absolute best. I had anemia during both my pregnancies and low ferritin and iron after both as well. I took these with both my pregnancies (after consulting with my OB) and they increased my blood levels to normal. I’ve continued taking them post partum and my ferritin and iron have normalized while taking them. I have zero side effects that normal iron gives you. No stomach upset at all. Highly recommend

A great iron supplement. Doesn’t cause constipation or stomach issues

I recommend SlowFe to everyone! I was struggling with low Ferritin (4!) and my doctor recommended this, as it is easy on the tummy. I used to work in the blood banking industry and recommended it to everyone with low Hemoglobin. I notice no negative side effects. Having taking it daily for about 2 1/2 years now, I feel better, have more energy/less fatigue. And actually my hair is a lot fuller and stronger too. I can’t say enough about SlowFe, especially for folks like me, who don’t eat red meat. The packaging is a little annoying, but I don’t find it to be as bad as some of the complaints in the reviews. It’s worth it.

Difficult to remove from package. My doctor suggested these.

I like this formulation because it doesn’t stop you up and the pills are tiny so easy to swallow. The packaging is annoying because they’re in a hard to open blister pack. I would prefer a jar but I understand that might be a hazard with children around. Still if you don’t have great dexterity, they are hard to get out of the pack. There is a corner to peel from but it is hard to see if you are sight challenged. Still a product I will keep buying anyway.

doesn’t hurt your stomach you should take in the morning with food

I really don't like to take iron but this is great. Easy on my stomach and my anemia is much better!!!
