Very very pleased. All are in immaculate condition. I love having the beautiful hardcover books in my collection

I've checked out these books at the local library a number of times and finally decided to purchase them. An incredible collection of works with a large amount of research behind it. Since 15th century English History is a favorite subject of mine, this collection is a delight.

All were hardcover with jackets, exactly what I was expecting. The packaging was great too! Very secure.

Ordered the collection brand new and got exactly what I ordered. Saw others had an issue getting poorly printed pages and damaged books, but mine for the most part was perfectly fine. I went through all the pages from all 5 books, and 3 pages had some thick printed letters which are somewhat tough to make out. Other than those pages everything else was perfectly fine.

The quality is just amazing!

Love, love, love these! I tried buying them individually and some were not the same height as the others which drove me insane. These are all exactly the same!! No dents, no tears, perfect. And came quickly.

Great Read

I'm really enjoying these books. You should know the story itself is one of the greatest ever so I'll just discuss the quality of the hardcover books. The dust jackets are simple artwork inspired by the books and not adorned with gaudy HBO characters. I take the dust covers off while reading and underneath is a simple black hardcover with text on the binding and nothing else. Overall a very tasteful presentation that will never look dated sitting on your shelf. The font is a really nice size and the pages are a good size and thickness too. The books have the perfect amount of heft that you'd expect for a hardcover. There are however a few printing anomalies. A word here or there printed too heavy or too thin and hard to read, a page printed too lightly so the ink looks grey instead of bold black. Just small quality jumps like that which I'm sure is common when you mass produce thousands of pages for books like these. Small nitpicks aside, I'm very happy with my purchase and would do so again.

Only the first was hardcover, the other 4 weren’t! Disappointed

All of the books came in almost perfect condition, some minor scratchers and two books had bumping in the corners but nothing that compromise the state of the books. Pages and impression is flawless, overall is the best and most beautiful collection you can find in Amazon.
