Norma Jean DesignsSailboat Metal Push Pins, Silver Finish, Solid Metal, Set of 15

I bought these sailboat pins and the nautical ship's wheel push pins as well. The reason for buying them was to mark my husband's journey sailing from Newport Harbor, CA to Istanbul, Turkey. The pins were meant to be "pushed" into a large, cork backed world map that hangs on his office wall. Unfortunately, these "pins" are more like "studs". The ends are not sharp. The push pin end is blunt. If they had been inserted into the map, the hole that they would have made would have destroyed the map. Too bad! They are really cute. I haven't found an alternative use for them yet. C'est la vie.
