Detective Unsolved Murder Mystery Game - Murder @ Park Place - Cold Case Files Game

Very good mystery. Well thought out plot, time line ect. My husband and I have played nearly a hundred of these murder mystery type games and i can say with confidence this one is decent. I will buy from this company again!

I’m an insomniac and enjoy doing these late at night by myself. This was my Fifth case. Idk if it’s because I’ve done a few, it’s a different brand, or if this one were a bit easier, but was able to solve it in under 2 hours. For beginner sleuths, just remember that the evidence is always right in front of you. Details are always important! I did notice they had an age wrong with one of the suspects. But it turned out to be a mistake and not significant. This would be a great first case for beginners! Good Luck!

My friend and I had a good time playing this game. The clues were decent and we ended up getting it right. We enjoyed the papers/evidence, though there was a moderate amount of online content. I will say that we found it annoying that we had to jump through, what we felt were unnecessary, hoops (proving people were not guilty AFTER finding things that could make them guilty). I remember the hints either not being helpful or not being there at all. Potential spoiler*** I’m pretty sure they got the idea for the motive from a “Monk” episode x)

This game is very well put together. We absolutely loved it! Trying to figure out those extra subpoenas was really fun also. It was like solving multiple things. Very creative. This is the only case game doing this. Very unique for sure. Everything was high quality and very realistic. The case itself was great. One of the better thought out case games for sure. We dont like the ones with no direction. This game you know exactly what your objective is and the direction you need to go. This is a must buy for case game lovers.

This was awesome! Played with my mom and we both were straining are brains to figure it out. Hints may or may not have been used to solve this murder. Well worth the money but of course can only be played once with the same group of people

Did it with my daughter, didn’t take very long but was fun. The materials were very well done. We did not write on the provided “documents” so we are able to share it with other friends who like these types of games.

I solved this one with my mom and younger cousin (12). The plot wasn’t bad, and we were able to solve the murder, however, it was very confusing and hard to follow. The documents themselves weren’t in the best order. We had to dig for the case overview because (as experienced case solvers) we knew to start there, but I feel that others might get lost if they approached the murder from top to bottom of the file. Once we got the subpoenas for the five suspects we weren’t able to access them again without having to re enter the info to re-open the subpoena info. This made it more difficult and delayed our ability to enter our suspect into the website and solve the case. Also, some of the reasoning for the murder itself was kinda off… Certain dates didn’t quite line up and aspects of the murderer’s motive were flawed. Overall, we enjoyed the case file, but I would personally recommend Unsolved Case Files instead (if you’ve played it, you know why). For me tho, I have played all the cases from that brand, so I guess if you’re looking for something new this one wasn’t a bad choice. I can’t say I’d be opposed to playing another case of Murder Detectives, this is mainly just to caution those who are looking for the best choice of case file.
