Q: Will this work for a golf cart tire?

It would work for any tubeless tire.

Q: Will this kit work with a load range d, 65 psi rv trailer tire? are the patches strong enough to seal?

The kit is made to be used on steel belted tires only. I hope this helps.

Q: What is the diameter and shape of the reamer where it goes into the handle? I plan to purchase extra reamers with knurls on them.

The shape of the handle that receives the reamer is a circle with a 6cm diameter opening. There is a set screw on each side that matches up with a flat carve out on the included reamer and it holds it tight so it doesn't come out when you're reaming the tire. Our included reamer is the shape of a hexagon with two carve outs where the set screws touch the reamer. Hope this helps!
