SpeedballGel Printing Kit

This was a nice starter kit for learning gel printing I will continue to use it and try new techniques

This was the perfect kit for beginners like myself! Has everything needed to try gel printing without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

This kit gives you everything you need to get started. It's not professional quality materials-- but one would not expect pro supplies at this price point. It is good enough for teens and adults who want to learn the basics. These kits are short on instructions but there are plenty of videos available elsewhere to get you started. Would buy again.

I had previously only worked with Gelli plates. When looking for another brayer, I came across this kit with a 5x5" gel plate, a 4" brayer, and tubes of Speedball ink, all for a great price. I love the performance of the Speedball plate. It's flexible, but a little firmer than the Gelli plates, and am satisfied with the performance of the inks on the plate. It also cleans up nicely with a baby wipe or soap and water, and so far hasn't stained. Very happy with the product, and would look for larger sizes.

This has been such a fun new medium to try out. My first attempt was.. not pretty. Which I guess is somewhat to be expected for a complete beginner. Some YouTube videos were a huge help for getting starting, as the instructions weren't incredibly helpful. The Speedball ink included in the kit is water soluble, so it's super easy to clean up, even after drying up. It's so fun to experiment with different materials and textures with these inks. The brayer is also really helpful to use with other mediums. Speedball has yet to disappoint me, I've been so pleased with all of their kits. Good value for the price, you get a decent amount of quality products to play around with.
