Works as advertised
These filters really work keeping out sediment. You can tell by the color esp if you have a clear filter housing to see. I have both sediment and charcoal and they work great! Great value for the $!

Noticed way less iron build up
Before this filter I was using 5 micron filters and somehow the iron specks would still get through.This is working great I need to change it again and add a second filter to make it great

great deal for original quality product
I have the Watts whole house filter system bought here from Amazon. I've been experimenting with ALL of the other brands/styles of cartridges Amazon sells. I keep coming back to these as the best. They fit nicely, as you screw the housing into place you don't have to worry about the top misaligning. They filter well and last long. And the price is nearly the cheapest of all options. That makes them the best option.

Good price, work fine
I live in southern New Mexico, where sand is our terrain, so I figure we have our share of sand in our water, along with other solubles. These filters are easy to install, and because I live alone (not a lot of water usage), I change them out about every 2 months. Because of their low price, cost to use them is nominal for me. And, they might last even longer each time, but I change them out when the filter shows just a slight yellowing color to them. Set you own schedule for replacement.

Can't beat the price and they work great
These are $10 each at the big box home improvement stores. They are about $2.50 each in the 5 pack. They trap a lot of sediment in my city supplied water supply, and seem to be on par with the recommend every three month replacement cycle. So you get a 15 month supply and a $40 savings. It is a direct replacement filter for my Watts whole house filter which is another fantastic product worth looking into.
