Zahra is a Dreamland employee just like the rest of her family and absolutely loves her job. She’s just not too happy about the decisions that Rowan has made in regards to the company in the past. But their attraction is instant even though they both try to avoid it.Both characters are dealing with personal trauma that definitely factor in to how they are together. But damn their chemistry is off the charts 🔥 Rowan helps Zahra to come out of her self and go after what she wants. And Zahra helps Rowan to learn to trust and grow!I am so excited to read book 2 which is currently looking at me from its spot on my bookcase 👀

Come ON! I would love Rowan to plan every date I ever go on from here on out please and thank you very much.I adored Zahra she is definitely a favourite FMC of mine. She is so lovely and bubbly, underneath that is a past that she has gotten over with and I could break lance’s neck everytime I think about what he done to her. She so deserves the world and more she’s such a darling.I so loved the relationship that Rowan built with Zahra’s sister Ani, pulled at my heart strings majorly.Am thinking Lauren Asher might just be becoming one of my fave authors of mine and I am here for it. I’ve only read throttled and the fine print and both were amazing 5 star reads for me. I adore every character in each book and cannot wait to read more and more!! Declan’s book is gonna be it for me I just know it 🥰

A few very spicy chapters towards the end of the book involving oral sex it’s not through out the book just one or 2 chapters so you can skip if that’s not your thing 😉🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️A great summer read - love that it was set in a Disney inspired theme park as that screams summer to me ☀️ even though it’s 430 pages long it was such a fun quick read I read 200 pages in one day!!! One those books you get so absorbed in you forget the time 💕This book made me want to go to Disneyland!!!!It was funny, had witty banter. Liked that it has a character with Down syndrome 🥰 and talked about inclusion in the theme park world. As an SEN teacher this really made me 🥺😍. I highlighted so many good quotes . That last board meeting presentation got me - actually shed a tear 😢😭. Omg when they were making a snowman together #relationship goals 💔☃️To begin with the main character “Rowan” gives Scrooge vibes and like how it represented the realities of money worries people have like paying for medical insurance, working 2 jobs, not being able to afford a holiday, minimum wage - made the story seem more realistic.Things that could have been better:- The author made a mistake in the book (wont mention character names so that I don’t spoil the story) when one of the characters was messaging another character under a different name and then later messaged the same character using there own phone wouldn’t it have come up who was texting in the first place (just didn’t make sense and as this is a big part of the book you would have thought the editor would have found this mistake 😬)- didn’t know what season it was found it confusing as in one chapter the characters were pumpkin carving 🎃 then in the next chapter the characters were at a Christmas tree village then going to New York in winter and making a snowman, ice skating,etc 🎄🤷‍♀️🤨-found the sudden switch to a mentor program happening out of the blue you literally turn the page and we are talking about a mentoring program without any build up just suddenly happened.I can’t wait to read the other brother stories in the series now ….
