A great concert from a great band for a great finale
I saw them on this tour in Jm Thorpe, PA. The show was great but attendance wasn't. What a shame that this band didn't do better here in the states. Anyhow, I waited a couple of years to buy this on BD and it is worth the wait. I got what I expected as far as visual and sound quality. Five Stars there!! I read alot of the reviews here and I agree that the one problem is band chemistry without Dave and Mikey. Don't get me wrong, Greg fits in well, plays great and sings almost as badly as Dave. Leland is a great bassist but he is NOT Mike P. Check out the previous Anniversary Live in Amsterdam! Mike is so wound into the band you cannot help but miss him!!The band comes out strong with great material from the "Falling" CD which features some of their hardest material since "Kingdom of Desire", which is also well represented in this concert BTW! Bobby is at his best ever in this concert from beginning to end and is even doing his old singing without the mike thing on occasion, amazing. Luke is, well...Luke. Anyone reading this is a Toto fan, need I say more? His guitar rips, shreds, and dances with a mastery worthy of being called one of the best in rock, no doubt at all. His singing is his usual smoky voice that blends perfectly in every exchange with the great Bobby Kimball and suits some of his great ballad stuff perfectly. I'll Be Over You, though "medleyfied" showcases why Luke was able to help carry the band through the lead singer crisis of an earlier time. (BTW please release some of the reunion stuff featuring Bobby and Joe Williams on stage together....)Unfortunately Toto has this medley thing they do that has always annoyed me. I realize that they have an extensive catalog with alot of fan faves, they play very hard during their concert and are getting older. However, there is no reason why they cannot do the songs in full during a longer concert with a break. Hey, Rush plays just as hard, have been around just as long or longer and don't play medleys!! That has always been my beef. I have seen them several times and each time I loved them but with exception taken to medleys. Nonetheless I rate this as 5 star with a strong recommend, especially if you have a quality system!! Now that they have gone their separate ways lets have some remasters of some of their earlier works, after all they are all studio guys, no excuse not to do it!! With all that said Toto is a great band and one of my all time favorites, thank you guys for all the great memories that come with so many songs!!

Toto excels again
I was eagerly waiting for this DVD.After being nicely surprised by the excellent Falling In Between CD, and after watching TOTO live a couple of times in my native Panama in support of Mindfields (also a great CD) and Through the Looking Glass, I have a renewed appreciation for their greatness as a group. After watching the whole DVD I can only say that this is one of the best sounding live concert DVDs I own (and I do own 100+), along with the Eagles Farewell I Tour, Duran Duran Live From London, and U2's Live From Chicago and Popmart DVDs.Simon Philips, which besides his excellent contribution to TOTO as a superb drummer, also serves as sound engineer in the DVD and the results are spectacular.Sound is so crisp, detailed and well balanced that is like being front row. There is a sense that every musician's output was carefully captured and mixed so that you can get the studio sound in a live context.Toto's repertory is so vast that within a regular 2 hour concert it is impossible to cover all their hits and fan favorites, however, they did a great job including both the great new material from FIB (I missed No End In Sight), as well as classics (Pamela, Hold The Line, I'll be Over You, Rossana, Africa) and fan favorites (Caught In the Balance, Isolation), while including great songs from the Luke-fronted Toto albums (Kingdom of Desire, Tambu). This time around, and unlike Live From Amsterdam, we are given the opportunity to enjoy great solos from Greg, Luke and Simon, which contribute greatly to the concert's flow and vibe.As an extra, all musicians are interviewed, and you get the opportunity to see the passion and love these guys have for their craft.Much have been said about TOTO's musicianship, and it is fully proven in their amazing performance on that night at the Le Zenith in Paris. For TOTO and rock music fans, this is a must buy. Let's hope there is "No End In Sight" for TOTO's ongoing legacy.

Different and awsome, die hard fans and musicians won`t be disapointed
I wasn't considering buying this DVD when it first came out since I really hadn't had much time to enjoy the Album Falling in Between yet. But my birthday came and gone and since I own all their material and seen them live three times, I said what the heck? I popped it in the DVD player and turned on my projector and immediately was immersed in this very entertaining experience. Not even knowing which songs were going to be played, I was pleasantly surprised by the older material. There is no doubt in my mind that the musicianship quality shines throughout the entire show and that the bands 80`s POP side is probably never coming back. I enjoyed this too! It is after all, what made this band WORLD WIDE notorious back then. If it wasn't for their hits half of all of their fans wouldn't probably never been driven to them and other bands within the PROGRESSIVE rock spectrum.Of course a lot of albums have gone by, a lot of the bands members lives have changed and it`s expected that their music will change but the way that they execute these new arrangements is still Flawless. I think Steve, Bobby and Simon are still at the top of their game. Even after more than 30 years. For the rest of the lineup, they are a fine compliment to the band.In a nut shell, this is another great performance by MY all time favorite band TOTO. A band MADE from EXCELLENT PROGRESSIVE MUSICIANS, w/excellent progressive tunes, FOR progressive thinking music lovers.
