Divine audio Sub-1.1H

Divine Audio Sub 1.1 h is a 8 inch driver active subwoofer, I purchased this to expand the audio spectrum to cover bass frequencies starting from 30 Hz to the spot where my bookshelf speakers(HIVI swans D1080 MK-II ) bass response rolling over at around 42 Hz with a 5.25 inch mid range driver.Does it fulfill the need?Ans : Yes, The frequency response of sub, when swept with a sine wave is satisfactory with a peak at 55hz and 30hz and rolls over to 20 Hz.The side bass port sucks and pumps lot of air. I can hear distortion/rattling sound due to port noise or the voice coil reaching its excursion limit, i don't know but its more pronounced when the crossover position is more than 12 o clock, and when the gain is set at 1 o clock. Later i found that its due to uneven floor tiles, so i folded a paper and kept it under one of the leg which has a gap. It solved the issue, but there is distortion if gain is greater than 60%, but with bookshelf speakers(Mid and treble) ON, we cannot hear it or its negligible.Provided cables are good.Sub-woofer looks great and minimalistic with a monolithic look.Suitable for small rooms, for larger rooms we can opt 12 inch version.Dual subs are good to avoid null regions inside room.For proper Bass, Sub needs to be tuned using crossover, gain, and placement in room and room treatment, avoid hard surfaces.The bass is tight and not boomy, i can listen the bass guitars, double bass, everything without loss.I'm attaching some videos i recorded with samson mic. Overall satisfied with the sub.I want to use it for monitoring and mixing audio in FL Studio.

The sound is pretty decent which will make an average listener happy. Audiophiles can stay clear of this. The claim that it goes down to 20.3hz is fake... It barely go down to 35hz which is only slightly audible in the mix.

The media could not be loaded. Its a nice little subwoofer. And for the price i dont think one can find a subwoofer with exception to yamaha ns-sw 50 which is good but lacks frequency control knob. This subwoofer is good to pair with bookself speakers which lack the low end due to 4 or 5 inch drivers and which are between 40 to 100 watts rms. Anything louder and you better invest in a 10 or 12 inch sub.It has frequency control. But mostly you have to keep it quite high anyway like 120-150hz. Unless you have very good speakers which can play low as 70 hz, it helps to have the frequency control so that you can add the lower end from where your speakers start to drop off its bass.The driver is bottom facing and it is ported on the right side. Works good in a small room thats 15 feet side wall to side wall and 15 to 20 feet front wall to back wall.If paired with a 5.1 etc or with more powerful speaker, you are better of using 2 of these place on either side.

it stopped working after 2 weeks. But what i want to mention here that they (DIVINE AUDIO) sent a technician to fix it . Great service. Not every brand do this these days.

The media could not be loaded. Subwoofer చిన్న సౌండ్లోనే బర్ర బర్రా అని distrubence వస్తుంది క్వాలిటీ లేదు చిరాకుగా వున్నది ఇది నాకు అస్సలు నచ్చలేదు వేరేది బుక్ చేసుకుంటాను కనుక దీన్ని వెనక్కు తీసుకోండి .పైగా subwoofer damage కూడా అయ్యిందిఅస్సలు నచ్చలేదు

I like the product.Sound quality is good.Nice price range.Connectivity is good.mind-blowing product.A big thanks to Divine audio for their classy product. Looks great. This is my first product from Divine Audio I think I am take right decision to choose this product.Keep it up.Long live Divine Audio.

The cost that I paid to get this woofer is not worth as it's just a woofer in same price range we get an entire set with much better bass than this crap...
