Works very well and have no problems with it. Prices have gone down since I purchased it.

I bought this chainsaw two months ago. I did NOT have the strength to pull it to get going. There is no way to hold the unit securely to pull the cord, without using two hands or feet. I'm sure it is a capable saw so I give it a no star rating. I may be too old to use a chainsaw safely.

After adjusting the idle speed, it starts now everytime on the 2nd pull, works beautiful.I bought the same model saw about 7 - 8 years ago, it still runs but after using it for about a 1/2 hourit stops and i cant get it started again until its completely cooled off. Over those 7 - 8 years It been used for many hundreds of hours, it worked a lot longer then i ever expected.Al M

Pull cord handle came off first use. Fixed it myself. I had this same model for 23yrs before it died. Hope this one lasts half as long.

So far, so good.

This is the second Poulin we have purchased. They make a great product at a reasonable price. Cuts great and cranks every time with just one pull.

Haven't used the saw yet, but didn't realize it was reconditioned when I bought it. Nowhere in the descriptions does it say that it is reconditioned.Upon further investigation I discovered that there was still build up of sawdust and oil under the cover, the teeth on the sprocket were worn and the silver clip had obvious wearing on it. It started great but the chain will not move in the unlocked position.

My husband is very pleased with this chain saw. Great saw for the money.
